Why exactly are you just declaring it finished?
You could still work on it from time to time, but you don't necessarily have to be as active as you are now. But you don't need to just "finish" it.

I think I speak for everyone when I say I hope the code is as clean as it can get and as optimized as possible (for lua scripting) as you can make it come the final release. It's been awesome going through and seeing this done. Can't believe this all started with a bunch of guys screwing around on a now dead Zombie Master server playing "Serial Killer", those were the days. Thanks so much for all the work BKU, :)

This next update better be pretty boss then.

Actually it will just be a few minor fixes most likely. It would be a bad idea to just throw out a huge update with a ton of bugs and go "whelp that's it guys".

Why exactly are you just declaring it finished?

I do need to just finish it, because after working a lot on something for quite a while it is nice to call it "done" and have some closure.

Who knows, garry might give me a bag of money. Then I'll add some more stuff. Otherwise, it'll be limited to fixes for urgent bugs or exploits.

Fuck.

I just remembered how badly I wanted that detective item which beeps if you're within X meters of an unidentified body and beeps faster as you get closer. Dammit dammit dammit. Now I have to rig the contest so tGB wins and deems it beneficial to return to updating it.

When detectives die and are in spec, when they investigate a body, it shows up as a magnifying glass symbol on scoreboard. All spectators can see it, probably alive people too. Can someone confirm this?

Hmm, looks like you're right. Thanks for reporting that, it'll be fixed in the version I submit to the contest. I think I'll wait a few more hours for any other last minute reports, then put up v280210 this afternoon and submit it.

One issue I've seen pop up a few times is being unable to use the "use" key on c4.
It doesn't happen very often, but when it does happen. You are unable to see the c4 countdown on the actual c4, the c4 itself will still explode. It just becomes impossible to disarm or found out how many seconds are left.

Not something that troubles me much, nor game breaking. Seeing as it's very rare and only happens every now and then. Also afraid I've got no lead as to what might cause it.

You're so buttmad faggot an admin who rdms and ghosts and lets his friends aimbot what a classy faggot, thank god half your server consists of asslickers otherwise nobody would play on your shitty server.

It might be caused by a slight physics desync between server and client, so you see the C4 lying somewhere when the server thinks it's actually a little to the side. Assuming other people are able to USE it.

Either way, v280210 is up, and submitted for the contest.

Bug: Whenever you left click to push on the health station it like teleports back to its old location for a few seconds then comes back. It happens when someone is holding it and you magneto push it too.

I've had ragdoll desyncs (or so I assume). I zoom up on a body with binoculars and the binocular does not register anything. Once someone walks over and searches that body, I can suddenly use the binoculars on it.

del>Ok, so Bad King, you are just going to wait for Garry to fix?
What an idiotic thing to ask. Dammit weed.

When you press ctrl as a spectator, even when the help thing is gone, it toggles EnableScreenClicker

I like how everyone is trying to report a mass amount of bugs right AFTER he submitted the gamemode.

Well I just noticed it, and he could really just patch this quickly.

Intended functionality, not bug. Ctrl just toggles the mouse as spectator. It's not very useful if you've already closed your tips, obviously.

Indeed, luckily these are not really bugs. Health station "teleporting" = client/server physics desync, not specific to health station. Binocular thing sounds similar. And compared to many of the gamemodes that are just getting completed today, bugs are not going to be much of an issue.

Well the health station does it WAY more than any other objects, and could you possibly disable that ctrl thing?
I like to move slowly in spectate, so I have to press ctrl.

I see that.
Just in case he decides to update ever again.

He left the game in a slightly glitchy form.

The same way I get this weird glitch every time I press spacebar where I fly into the air slightly.

1200+ hours in Source SDK, and the Source engine is still a mystery.
