The knife flat out kills (with 2000 damage, this is an arbitrary amount) if the victim is < 60 HP, or if it is thrown from a few meters away. The "Wounded" status shows for people between 46 and 70 HP. Hence, that old post was incorrect, or the numbers were changed at some point after it was made.

Tell me, I was editing the files and I made some changes, like faster M16 as everyone hated it being so slow, slow down the speed of the HUGE and increase it damage, but when GMOD updated, apparently the Gmod TTT got over the TTT on the gamemodes folder, any way of making so the gamemode one isn't updated?
Also, I tried making the Throw knife insta kill but even making it deal 10000 damage, it still left the person at half HP, any way of making it Insta-Kill?

apparently the Gmod TTT got over the TTT on the gamemodes folder, any way of making so the gamemode one isn't updated?

Rename the "terrortown" folder to "terrortown2" or whichever name you so desire it to be.

oh, so at the default gamemode I put terrortown2?
now I got with another problem, I use a voting system on my server, but there's a problem, when vote to play some cs_ or de_ maps, people crash from the server and they can't join back until I change the map. Any way of removing those cs_ and de_ maps from the list?

Ello BKU, I was wondering if, when a Traitor, you could see your teammates OUTLINED, much like Left 4 Dead. This would help greatly (you know exactly where they are looking at, plus they're easier to look at). I think it would be a great upgrade agains't the red "T" in your teammates :P

EDIT: Also I believe the bodies of the players KILLED by flareguns should be ignited as well? :P

Go to gamemodes/terrortown2 and edit the info.txt file. Remove _cs and _de maps from the list.

Good idea, but not likely to be implemented. At least not by me.

Do you know if there's any problems with the name-change kicking?
It didn't work with evolve so I just set it to gmod, but it still won't work correctly.

Having some little issues with the weapon placer, it does work though.

Any time you place something you get this error:
Can't find factory for entity: ttt_playerspawn
[@weapons\gmod_tool\stools\tttweaponplacer.lua:111] Tried to use a NULL entity!

It isnt just me getting the error either. That doesnt effect the stool though you can still save scripts and everything.

Now my problem comes when I try to host a server to help my friend arm his map. It seems that when he places a player spawn it crashes me. It happened twice just as he was placing a player spawn. The thing is, is that its not the first spawn he placed, its a random one. I get the regular 'hl2.exe has stopped working.'
I tried uploading my dump to gmod's dumb viewer but it just keeps refreshing.
I know its not much to go off of.

The weapon placer is explicitly not built for multiplayer. I am surprised it does anything at all, and certain features will definitely be broken.

The spawn placing crash is a known issue that has been around for a while. It only happens on specific maps and only in certain areas. I can't really fix it because I don't have the tools to do anything useful with dumps other than the viewer, which as you said doesn't help in this case.

I've been looking for them forever but I can't find them in just materials/vgui/ttt/

There's only one texture on the scoreboard, it's score_logo.vtf and it's in the directory you mentioned.

Can we reduce the shotgun's headshot damage? It's very unfun fighting against them because it gets 1 hit kills far too often.

I really don't think the shotgun is that bad.  It's the MAC-10 you need to worry about.  When you're fighting some guy with a shotgun, you really want to avoid getting close, so any shots of his only connect with a few pellets.

You can't magically "change a variable" to contain completely different information. Just do the second option you mentioned.

edit: After reading the other thread on this, I'm not the right person to ask "my first Lua" type questions, because I won't give you the detailed step by step answer you're going to need.

There is most certainly a way, but I'm not going to.
