Judging by this video, people have found out how to exploit the magneto stick and fling props at high speeds in front of them.
Not much of an issue since it falls into the same category as hacking, but thought I should let ya know.

Its pretty sad that the server let that go on for that many maps.

Yes, anyone can use the damagelog in the post round phase.

It's hard to tell what they do in the video, but it seems like they use a hack to automatically turn around at super speed and let go of the prop at exactly the right time to convert all that momentum into forward velocity.

I could fix this by using the same measure that I use for ragdolls, which would prevent all prop throwing. Do any maps or valid tactics rely on throwing props?

Foolish people. They allow their names to be shown. After an investigation(reading names), i can say these cheaters are:

pythons
Parker Pufferfish / Carter Parker
Darky the wolf / *|PEZ|* Darky «SG.Mem»

Their steamids:
Carter Parker / Parker Pufferfish: STEAM_0:1:30817645
Darky: STEAM_0:0:21270654
pythons: i'll grab it soon.

Part of that video was filmed on my server. Thanks for your names and steamid's cheaters! Well obliged.

Some new svn things:
- Added "call detective" button to the body search window. Clicking it shows all detectives the current location of the body for 60 secs.
- Added a cvar to disable prop throwing: ttt_no_prop_throwing, it's 0 by default for the time being.
- Fixed some fretta things, ttt_fretta_votegracerounds wasn't working etc.
- Ragdoll pinning is now enabled by default.

I'm Parker Pufferfish and the part I was in I was having chairs thrown at me and I am in another TTT server. I didn't know they were hacking; I just thought it was all in good fun.

I haven't changed anything about blood. TF2 blood is orange, so maybe a TF2 or engine update screwed it up on your gmod (it has been known to do that).

The hud text should indeed only show for traitors, will fix.

Okay cool Also the detective call thing
There needs to be alimit or make it the text go to detectives only or something cause you can easily spam it and hide evidence Eg Bob is the traitor!

There is a limit, every player can only click the button once per corpse.

That prop killing thing in the video was a hack.

Yea, it was obvious hack. I don't think there's any way to avoid that. He could easily have a script that turns him right, or left, then straight back in a split second, and right clicks to let go. I guess maybe BKU could add something to prevent that, but I don't know if it's possible.

Nope. The fundamental issue is that a player can generate momentum for the prop he carries just by turning around. I can't somehow limit turn rate, that would result in a really bad "feel" to the controls. The solution is to prevent the momentum from having an effect by killing the prop's velocity when the player releases it. That's what the convar does, and it prevents the hack from having effect. Of course it has the side effect of preventing all throwing, that's why it's not on by default unless the hack becomes very widespread (will probably not happen). It's just there in case servers want to play it safe.

Trying to fight hacks like this certainly isn't my priority, because it's an unwinnable battle, this just happened to be something I could easily add an optional measure for.
