It may be a problem related to the gmod update, and not TTT's fault. But, posted it here anyways.

Gmod update broke a lot of clientside stuff, mostly related to player prediction/traces it seems. Blood effects also don't work when you hit people, stuff like that.

Nothing I can fix. The problem appears to lie within gmod itself.

Any word from valve or garry about achievements and inclusion in garry's mod?

Also: did you get your money?

No, I mean: "the issue lies in gmod, hence I can't do anything about it and you'll have to wait for an update".

No.

Work seems to be progressing on a fix, so we might see a gmod update fairly soon.

What does your family/friends/acquaintances think of your success by the way?

They have cast me out for being so incredibly rich. Unbeknownst to some, the Netherlands have an extremely rigid and fine-grained caste system based on one's net worth.
Do they know?

The massive golden crown I started wearing tipped them off.

Looking at some of the other threads made about this issue. My server also seems to be crashing upon the final loading stage of the "sending client info" when I join the TTT server. The server was therefore rebuilt from fresh again, and the same stuff happened. Coincidently enough, it only happened after the Gmod update. Nothing is installed on the server atm, not even TTT, and the server makes your game crash. It's not just me either. Others I asked to connect have the same problem. Just thought I'd point out that problem :)

Sure, but it's not very useful to point out Gmod crashes to me. In this case, I gather clients will crash if they can't get the datapack. This has nothing to do with TTT.

Just figured if people were crashing when attempting to join and came looking here, they're not alone :P. Next update looks to fix the datapack problem.

What a surprise, garry released an update without testing it. Woooo!

He was AFK and someone flare-gunned him to death.

As you can see, the logs showed it properly:

Why is the picture for flare gun kill a picture of the grenades? Unless that was unintentional also.

Thanks for the reports. The flare gun isn't meant to show up in the search, I'll fix that.

Today i was killed by a flare gun and it said a holstered was used to kill me. Im assuming the update will fix that but i thought id let you know.

And not showing name changes to regular players might be bad. If there is no admins and traitors change their names if they have been caught then other players would have no idea, unless the look at the scoreboard. But i see the point of it, getting rid of ghosting that way.

2 things i noticed.

1. If you put a c4 on something that moves, like an elevator, the indicator wont move with it.
2. If someone id's someone that killed a traitor that was unid'd, thus confirming the traitors death, they dont show up as traitor on the scoreboard.

The second one isn't a broken feature Darkest, it confirms that the guy killed a person, but until you find their body you won't know they're a traitor. That's how it works with all confirmed bodies. It doesn't show how they died, or any info until the actual body is found.

PS: I also had to ask, is it possible to kill a detective with a knife, when the detective has the armor, and the traitor has the maximum amount of damage reduction from low karma?
