Imho, I feel you should get less extra push points and replace the less points you get with faster push point regeneration, but still the point system is rather useless as it is so far.

Agreed - it takes too long for points to regenerate now - though it seems to vary from server to server.

The default setting means you can't do too much to annoy living players. If server admins want a bigger role for prop spectators they can easily increase the recharge rate, and some have.

A betting system has come up before, and I feel it's too much work for too little reward. Betting is something that could easily be done as a (Lua-based) server plugin, using methods like CS:S betting plugins.

How about not allowing players with low scores to see reflections? These are the people who tend to be trigger happy and often misuse that information.

I'm pretty much all for this, I see it happen way too often too. Some people don't seem to understand that just because someone is in a dead mans reflection doesn't mean that person was the traitor who killed him.

Ok I thought about a kind of a rating system, not sure if this would work but I'll tell you anyways:

How about if you could rate a player on the scoreboard, e.g. give him points wether you think he is innocent or traitor.

If several people think XY is supicious his tag will automatically switch to avoid. If someone is proven innocent by killing a traitor or a test lab and a few people mark him friendly he will show up for other people friendly aswell.

Only then did the elves begin to suspect that the dwarves were not bringing any Amontillado.

I had a idea.  Some people tend to rejoin if they die so they are put on spectator and eliminate themselves from being MIA.  So what if when they rejoin the MIA thing remains on there?

I might deal with persistence-related things like that if/when I experiment with a punishment system. Until then it should be something servers ban for because what the hell, why do some people just have to be massive cunts all the time to get their little advantages. There's nothing about MP games that annoys me more than exploit crap.

Suggestion: Increase the size of the chatbox + Make it easier to navigate the chat history for that round.  AKA, a search feature.

"Search: 'Firespray' Search has brought up the following results:"
Eeny: Shut up Firespray.
Firespray: I'm a traitor!
C.Mong: Firespray shot me!
(last words) Milo: Hi Firespray!

Qloos; There wouldn't be much of a way to easily differentiate between rounds.

A simple feature to have the search function search back until it says "Round has begun" like it always does at the start of a round and search for nothing beyond that would easily deal with that concern.

Nothing annoys me more than being a traitor, and I can't hear a word my fellow teammates are saying b/c all the innocents are talking.  A nice feature as a traitor would be a way to either mute innocents, or have an option to quiet innocents when your traitor buddies speak.

Is the traitor chat now fixed? I'm always to worried to use it.

I honestly think "mute all innocents" totally should be a button. Sometimes I just want them to shut the fuck up so I can find the c4 I think I just heard, or so me and my traitor buddies can talk.
