So the player tab tags are:
Friend
Suspect
Avoid
Kill
MIA

That's a lot of tedius clicking.  Could right clicking be used to cycle backwards?  Or remove "avoid" not as useful as the other ones.

. . . Oh, and when a poltergeist is used on a spectator controlled prop, the spectator should die.

I also thought about this. If the traitor uses poltergeist on a possessed prop, the spectator in the prop gets the ability to move very fast and kill innocents, for like 60 seconds. It's basicly a traitor pet, if you disable physics damage between the traitor pet and the traitor.

Or the prop goes and kills the traitor.

Eh I guess. I've avoided it because it's similarly tedious for me to change.

Why? I can't really test this by myself, but I wouldn't expect the spectator to have meaningful influence over what happens to the prop at that point. The force a spec can exert on the prop is much, much smaller than what the poltergeist does.

Noticed some odd entries in the log files.

L 12/11/2009 - 21:32:16: DMG:	Melarith damaged Melarith for 2L 12/11/2009 - 21:32:16: DMG:	Melarith damaged Melarith for 4L 12/11/2009 - 21:32:16:

I assume this is world damage? I've seen quite a few of these entries.
Also could you possibly start every TTT log on a new sentence as default logging does, as right now everything gets thrown behind each other making for some hard readability.

I assumed the log print function would add the newline.

That's not world damage, but damage to the player dealt by himself, from the damage amount it looks like fire. I guess it's from people walking into their own molotov?

edit:
I've just gone ahead and updated the .zip for this version with newlines in the server log stuff as the only change.

I suppose I'll filter out the damage players deal to themselves in next version, I don't think it's useful for anything (suicides will still show up in the kill logging).

Thanks for the log file update. Also would you kindly throw in if the person was a traitor or innocent, something like.

[FuRRy] Niko[TRAITOR] damaged Zolly[INNOCENT] for 6.25

Also I noticed this happened a few times.

L 12/11/2009 - 23:38:04: KILL:	<something> killed simblack_DragonL 12/11/2009

L 12/11/2009 - 23:40:01: KILL:	<something> killed magnavozz[TFP_G2]

I've checked if there was a person called <something> but there wasn't.
Seeing as world damage isn't getting logged I'm puzzled what this might be.
This only happened on one log file so it might just be a random fluke.

There is indeed not much purpose for this, if any. Any possible player damage will be logged so it will be obvious that it was self inflicted.

World kills (as opposed to damage) are logged, and they will look like that.

I'll put the traitor/inno thing on the list.

Could you check the randomer. It doesn't seem to be working. People seem to be getting streaks of 4-5 onwards a lot more than normal. That or raise the Negative effect for being a traitor more than once.

I have not yet noticed this. I have been having innocent streaks since a few days but that's most likely my bad luck.
Five times in a row seems extremely rare, don't think I've ever seen that.

Also log files are extremely useful. Already been able to use them a few times to check up on RDM reports.
Currently got a cronjob running to have them uploaded to my communities website for other admins to see. Should proof to be most useful in solving issues.

Earlier today I had someone say they were going to kill someone on sight. When I asked why they said "Because they keep killing me after the round ends". I told them it was no big deal as everyone does that and thats what it was kinda made for. He then whined that if you are killed during the round end cooldown period it reduces your chance of becoming a traitor. Who makes these things up?

I'm loving the prop possesion, it causes so much random moments, to 3 guys locked in a room talking to a chair to people killing because the boxes told them to do it.

I like it best when certain props are adopted by players, they carry them around and talk to them, and go on adventures.

Get off my lawn you rotten kids!
Nah, he's just being 'correct'. It's just JossiRossi's way of dealing with it.

Nothing has changed about traitor selection. Seeing as people are now running larger servers though, and getting traitor in the first place becomes less likely, streaks are even less desirable and it would be a good idea to increase the penalty you mentioned.

For example, last night. Pastor became traitor 5 times in a row with 18 people, not the other traitors circulated but pastor kept on being the traitor.

I'm not complaining but something seems off, (nor am I accusing pastor of cheating)

I don't want to get into this random discussion again. Literally nothing has changed. I understand randomness is unintuitive and hard to deal with emotionally and whatever the fuck, but I don't want to spend 5 pages on that again. I am reducing the chances of traitors getting streaks, so let's leave it at that.

Much appreciated Urgrain, not to long ago I had a solid innocent streak of 32, no exaggeration.
