If you mean the hearing, I agree. There just always seems to be one person with supersonic bat-hearing that detects it the moment it gets planted.

I think if Sulkdodds and Marphy got into a fight the whole forum would explode.

Don't ask me how i discovered that, but there is a way to duplicate your c4 by dropping it, while having a high cmd rate.

Primary fire. You need a ping of 200, and you drop 2 c4s.

Edit.: maybe it's a listen server thing, haven't tested it on dedicated ones.

I wonder If you could implement some kind of AFK option, If a Player doesn't move in the preparation time he should get changed to Spectator or at least prevent AFK getting Traitor?

Fiiiiiiiiine. It's just so damn hard to use without getting found out almost immediately.


On the other hand, I've seen people whip it out in the middle of a large group and get three kills while everyone thinks soemone is sniping them from a distance.

You're also getting errors for Lua stuff that isn't even TTT related, so it's definitely something with your GMod. I don't know how or what, but it won't be something I can fix.

Then why do I get exactly the same LUA errors with 100% stock, default, freshly downloaded GMod? The only thing that changed between TTT working and TTT not working is your code.

I don't like that, sometimes during spectating I go to get a drink or something and come back, the round has started and I get to play instead of waiting about 10 minutes.

Someone please explain to me why TTT doesn't work on a FRESH INSTALL OF GMOD.

I keep getting these errors while playing as well (and nothing works, not the HUD, or the scores, or the weapons. Nothing)

EDIT: SO WEIRD. I installed the server files for TTT, ran my own server for a second, and now it works. GMod, you son of a bitch.

Did anyone ever really use that in ZM when they went AFK? There's ttt_spectate 0/1 (on/off), but I don't think I'll make a button for it for aforementioned reason.

To be honest I don't think AFK-ness is a big deal right now. It's an obvious thing so people are likely to say "woop woop would be nice if that was fixed somehow" but it won't really make a big difference either way. It gets handled well enough by players themselves, and if there's an admin on he can just slay/kick.

At the start of rounds, frequently people are dropped from bufferover flow.  Even if people are not talking.

I don't know if I can change that. I believe it happens because all entities are respawned, which can lag the server for a moment. The respawn process is inevitable, as the map needs to be cleaned up. I've also seen a large number of rounds in which no one drops, so perhaps it's some other mysterious reason.

It is still possible to carry c4's, by arming it while holding.
