Oh haha thanks, I always got that error but it confused me because there were some working smokegrenades on the map.

I really appreciate your help with this BKU, it's great that it seems to work. I just have to persuade servers to give it another go...

No need to worry about that. I'm sure all TTT servers will be more then happy to use this.
Anyhow is version c ready for public use or simply there for testing how it goes with FAST dl?
Seeing as its not pakratted I assume it misses some files.

You're so buttmad faggot an admin who rdms and ghosts and lets his friends aimbot what a classy faggot, thank god half your server consists of asslickers otherwise nobody would play on your shitty server.

I would have thought that if it's downloading properly from the server it should be working now in general. Of course, I'd prefer more testing but I wouldn't know how to go about it. I have a good feeling about it though!

Otherwise v1c is perfectly playable- the only things missing are soundscape files, and I removed the soundscape entities so there won't be any noticeable problems there.

Well I just tried it on Lynx's server and IT WOOOOOORKSSS.

Unfortunately my videocard seems to have just melted down so I can't play it right now but IT WOOOORKKSSSS.

EDIT: Man, looks like my videocard is completely gone, I'm using another computer right now. Talk about reversal of fortune.

But still, it works!

Well if you need to add files into the .bsp I'd personally recommend map analyst. It's essentially pakrat but I find it has a higher success rate for me personally.

If pakrat gives you issues, you could always switch to res files. Specially for only a few soundscape files it should be no problem.
Granted everything packed together would be neater, since soundscape files are small. There's no real advantage over using pakrat.

Quick update- Here's a very very (very) tentative v2 file:

http://rapidshare.com/files/387436816/ttt_siege_v2.bsp.html

It's been compiled with the orange box compiler and has some new features including soundscapes, killable npcs and helpful signs but I ended up just going ahead and pakratting stuff in so there's a chance that the "wrong map file" bug is back again. If anybody has a way of verifing whether downloading the map from a server works then that would be fantastic.
