Although it's all just a theme, I kind of miss the whole "Serial Killer" thing. You don't really feel like a serial killer in TTT, you almost feel like a good guy. Back in SK you really got to feel like an evil person.

Just commentary.


EDIT: Hey, could you enable keyboard control while looking at dead bodies? I've been screenshotting funny lastwords on corpses I find, but recently found none of them took.

A few days ago, someone had barricaded himself upstairs in TTT_Thething.  So I armed a C4 on the floor below him.

"OH GOD, THE TRAITOR SET THE C4, IT'S QLOOS"
"I guess the jigs up, I'm the traitor."

*C4 Detonates, initial blast goes off*

"HA HA! It didn't kill me!  You f-"

*Secondary C4 Blast goes off"

"Um, did he just die?"
"Yeah, lol"

Emergency Bug: You need to delay the attributing of deaths until end of round, detective mode is compromised since deaths update automatically on the score board.

Looks like you're right, surprised no one noticed this before.

I'm about to test a quick fix for it, if that works I suppose I'll do a release, even though I wasn't really planning on it today.

Can't do this because people could +USE a body and just walk away to somewhere quiet where they can read the popup.

It might be possible to specifically make the menu pass on the screenshot command, I'll take a look at that.

Right:

- Made deaths not get counted on scoreboard until the end of the round.

- Fixed exploit of pressing sprint + walk in order to move at normal speed without making a sound.

- Fixed issue with holstered weapon that as one of the symptoms caused the "last weapon" key to behave strangely after switching to holstered.

- Made knife stab much easier to hit with.

- Fixed knife throw bouncing into people without killing them (especially at very short ranges).

- Changed ttt_roundtime_minutes to default to 15 minutes (was 20 or 25).

- Lowered ttt_traitor_pct from 0.3 to 0.24. See here for what this means for the number of traitors. Non-detective mode servers will want to set it back to 0.3 in their server.cfg.

- Fixed mattresses and such showing as unidentified corpse, properly this time.

- Changed flaregun description in traitor menu to not refer to an ammo count

- Added ttt_win entity, which takes one input for each side to make them win the round. FGD has been updated and the usage should be obvious.

Would some kind of body manipulation utility be too hard to code? Something that could move ragdolls really easily, cover up bloodstains (not sure if feasible), and maybe change death information a few times?

We already can move ragdolls.
Blood is client side.
Changing dead body info makes innocents never trust bosy info and is a step in the wrong direction.

You should turn up the volume of the C4. Almost noone can hear it.
