I've made a little response in the FAQ thread for you, it sounds like you forgot to do a number of important things and I suggest you read an optimization tutorial or guide. You also used the dreaded carve tool. You can see where this is going. Most experienced mappers tend not to even touch that tool and use alternatives instead, I suggest you do the same and try to make those holes another way.
