Hello. After a recent update I have realized that scoping in with a rifle (siper) will keep your same sensitivity, which makes it really hard to accurately snipe. It did not used to do this. Before it used to reduce the sensitivity quite a bit. Is this a TTT issue or a Gmod issue, and what can be done about it? Thank you.

The sensitivity on the sniper is a bit of a problem, when sniping across a map (not too large) i was unable to shoot someone in the head because the jumps where too far apart to even hit them (as there head was only visible behind a defense) really annoying and it wasn't my hardware as i turned down sensitivity on mouse all the way to get a better sniping shot, couldn't happen due to this.

bind x +snipe alias +snipe "sensitivity 1" alias -snipe "sensitivity <what your current sensitivity is>"
Hold X when sniping. Magic!

Yep, I know of this. I am mainly wondering if it's something that Badking can fix, or if it's an issue I must bother Garry with.

There was nothing in the rifle doing anything with sensitivity, so gmod/source changed something behind the scenes in the update. I've now added something that adjust sensitivity if you're zoomed for both the rifle and the binoculars.

You should make that optional, personally I don't like it changing my sensitivity.

Yay! Hopefully they won't revert it and mess up your fix. Thanks very much.

The m16 zoomed in seems to have had the same type of sensitivity increase.

I know. It hardly matters considering how small its zoom is.

Download the new version using an SVN client?
