I have been having issues with my server not working correctly. The doors move SLOWLY and it takes a normal prop_door_rotating 2.5 seconds to fully open when normally it only takes at least 1 second. It does not skip, it just simply moves slowly. I have tried many thing to fix the problem. Also server FPS runs at or near 250 or more. It does this for all maps. Also func_door_rotating (Brush Doors like walls) if they are triggered by touch then they constantly open and close when you're touching them best example is the doors in OneSmallShamble. The doors constantly go up and down while touching it. Sometimes the doors don't even open. Can anyone possibly help me fix this problem?

Yes and it wouldn't have anything to do with my client. It's definitely something server side.

We've tried a different box and a complete reinstall of GMOD. It still does it.

If it does it on sandbox, then something is conflicting, its not a ttt issue. What addons are you using/have you got?

Right now, we don't have any addons. It's all stock gmod.

Mine is stock, I don't know about bacon. I don't see why that would matter though since it effects everyone on the server. We also use script enforcer.
We use https://www.nfoservers.com/ for the dedicated.

We have these settings forced in our server.cfg that we can't touch
sv_parallel_packentities 0 sv_parallel_sendsnapshot 0 net_queued_packet_thread 1 net_splitpacket_maxrate 50000
do you think these could be causing the problems?
Not to mention the high population lag, when we get more then 12 people our server FPS will tank into the 0-60 range.

mm It could be and most likely is a lag issue, or packet loss. I.e the client fails to sync the door state with the server resulting in epic odity.

Nevermind, we found out what it was. They had the server's tickrate set to 100. When they set it back to 66 (OB default) it fixed it.
They have been really helpful in accommodating us and tracking down the issue.

I know phys_timescale serverside can do this. But since you fixed it, theres no point in checking that cvar.. is there?
