Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / [Answered] Which SDK engine?
|

I have been building my own TTT map under the Counter-strike: source configuration with the TTT models and Garrys Mod models, under the SDK "MP" engine, but I was wondering, shouldn't strictly Garry's Mod mapping fall under the 2009 engine? If so, where do TTT maps fall? Do the different engines really matter that much?

Thanks GrayScare0, your information is invaluable. I'll try to make sure there are enough guns for everyone to get one without having them run across the entire map and back while keeping the balance of the map, and some of it should be a process of trial and error.

Hey guys, how many of the various ttt guns need to go in a map for balance, and about how many of what kind? (I figure there would be more pistols than shotguns/snipers, that sort of thing.) Thanks!

I like the idea, wish I had enough lua knowledge to actually make weapons, but if you need any ideas for weapons, I could probably come up with a list. XD

Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / [SOLVED] Sniper ammo?
|
on: September 23, 2011, 05:24:29 PM

I've recently started mapping, and went straight to making maps for TTT, but after creating most of the map, I decided to try and place a few guns. I noticed that there are the default guns, zm guns, and ttt guns, which should I prioritize/use? Also, I noticed that there is no ammo for the sniper in the entities section. Am I supposed to have ammo for it, or is it something custom I have to download? Thanks.
Edit: I know this seems like a mapping question, but it's more about a corrupt gfc/missing files from the ttt gfc, or a custom ammo download.
