You should make the traitors some sort of resistance fighter. Like name them after the French or Polish Resistance.

The story's in the map loading screen. Sometimes it's French, Polish, Swiss etc.
Or something else.

Double post galore.
There are around 10 people on the server atm, why don't you come join and stuff?

There's also:

STTTP (Thread title)
FTT (Facist Time Travel)

It seems all there is left of TTT is a bunch of  custom unbalanced TTT servers. Would anybody be interested in playing on a pure vanilla TTT server?

What are you yapping about? There is plenty of vanilla TTT servers around. Question is if they have a good playerbase behind it.
But yeah, there is too many servers with that god-forsaken Jihad bomb. It's as overused as 'arrow to the knee' jokes.

Community leader my arse.

Second in Command.
Although he technically hosts our servers so yeah.

EDIT: Oh yeah, if any of you have any map requests, feel free to state them. I am more than happy to re-arm it and add a story to it.

Sniper Duck, Socialism is closer to communism which isn't close to the 'German Facist Rule'. Looks neat though.

Too lazy to put in National Socialists.

We had a few games yesterday, was pretty neat with all the people.
We were thinking of what we could make into a Detective item, because he seems so unloved at the moment, but all our ideas were brought down because nobody knows LUA in our community. All of this was done by me and our community leader, and we have like nil experience.

note: Am I allowed to speak only german?

Well, the rules states English only, but you can always just make some short phrases. We often shout random stuff in German. :v

24 slot :C

The maximum we've had in our server is 10 people. And our maps are fairly fit for 24 people, so it should be too much problem.

That's pretty neat.

This looks fun. I'll have to check it out.

Thanks for the praise! We're dying to actually have a stable playerbase.

Please do note that our dedi has had a recent move, and it's been quite unstable for the moment, with random freezing. But hopefully it'll pass soon enough.

ZombieSurvivalists is a European gaming community who just play games together. We chat in our TeamSpeak and play a variety of games such as TF2, ZM and TTT etc. You can find out more at our website, as well as IPs and links to servers.
Now, less about the community, more about this server!

Our server has taken a different route than most TTT servers, we were running a vanilla TTT server thinking "Man, Nazis make everything better, let's make a TTT server about it!". So here we are, a TTT based around Nazis.

Our custom content:
New playermodels
Detectives made into Offizers
Traitors made into Verräters
Quickchat remade into German.
(Everything else is still English)
New weapons
New Verräter items
(De Lisle Carbine, M1 Bazooka etc)
New Offizer items (N-Dev FG42 etc)

Short summary:
While we do not actually support the Nazis, we made this out of fun and wanted to see how it turns out. The basic TTT concept is still there as always, but with a little more story in between. Every map has it's own map summary, which is written on the loading screen when joining the server.

Classy.

Stuff like holstered uses special animations included with GMod. Something needs to be done to the models to make them work with those animations. I don't know exactly what because I haven't touched Source model compilation in years.

You could try Facepunch, as this is a general GMod problem that will also exist outside of TTT, and people there might know more details.

I figured. I tried to dig into the problem myself but good lord, modelling is not my strong side.
Thanks for the tip, I'll see about it.

Locking this thread yeahuh.

So no nothing?

This has happened several times with me when the map doesn't have any weapons on it actually.
Not sure if the problem is related.

Aren't these NPCS?

True, but they contained playermodels, and as I said every other animation works fine except for that one.

I thought maybe re-compiling the model would fix it but I dunno.

Hello, we've encountered a problem with some custom playermodels on our server.
Whenever we equip Holstered, the character goes in a T-pose, but that is only when we move because if we stand still, he's in a idle stance.
Every other animation is working fine, it's just this single one that is being an issue. The models we're speaking about are these ones:
http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=126189

One time we got a console error that looked something like this;

Error! Flag "$halflambert" is multiply defined in material "models/germans/ger_equip_1"!
Error! Flag "$halflambert" is multiply defined in material "models/germans/ger_equipment_2"!
Error! Flag "$halflambert" is multiply defined in material "models/germans/ger_equipment_1"!

I am not familiar with modelling nor LUA, so these lines make no sense to me.
Any help?
