Anyone have trouble with the hit detection on the Shotgun and the Knife lately?

Nothing was changed in either one. Especially the shotgun: it fires bullets in the exact same way as any other weapon.

No, I have been noticing hit detection issues lately. It could have been caused by a GMOD update, but I think it has been caused by too many servers running with an increased player limit, and for some reason it "misses" shots that should have hit.

Like me running 5 feet behind a detective and shotgunning him strait in the back. Didn't even hurt him.

Apparently every server has the problem. It has been said that it's server side, connectivity, and lag etc. In my opinion there's too many problems with this on too many ttt servers for it to be the servers problem. :| I don't know.

I've been having kinda weird issues too. Like, a guy will be right in front of me, I'll shoot him twice and no damage. We were both standing still.

del>Ok, so Bad King, you are just going to wait for Garry to fix?
What an idiotic thing to ask. Dammit weed.

If there's a problem, it's in gmod.

I saw some terrible hit detection on a TTT server where both players had ~30 ping and 1 was standing still. A traitor took 4 shots right at the head (a ton of spectators saw this to) and not a single one hit, and the detective killed the traitor.

I hope no one expects reports like this to suddenly make me turn a magical "make bullets hit" switch. There is literally nothing I can do about it.

Isn't it obvious there is plenty you can do, you just feel you are too important to do it? With all these people saying what they say, it must be true.
