FAQ:

What is NMDGaming?
: NMDGaming is an australian community started by 3 members (Bean, Fail, Sonie)

Australia? What??
: Quite a few people on forums like these tend to play on Australian servers or are in fact, From Australia. So if you don't care about a 300 ping then hop right on and play!

What does NMD Stand for?
: Needs More Dawg

Why are you advertising this if you didn't make NMD?
: Because I mange NMD's servers, Keep them up and updated to the latest.

Do you offer VIP?
: I do not believe in that crap. Its a great way of scamming players by giving them a crappy deal. I believe everyone should be treated the same without having 'special' powers.

What if I do donate?
: You can be put in a Donator group which offer minimal moderator powers (Abuse = Losing this power)

Server Information:

Game(s) Mounted: Cstrike, HL2
Addons Loaded: Derma (Every Gmod user has this), ULib, ULX, UBan
TerrorTown version: 13/06/10 (Not Modified!)
IP:Port: 118.127.21.234:27032
Tickrate: 66
Rates: Maxrate = 30000, Minrate = 0 (Unlimited up to 30000), Maxupdaterate = 66, Minupdatrate = 0 (Unlimited up to 66), Maxcmdrate = 66, Mincmdrate = 0 (Unlimited up to 66)

So why not jump on and kick start the server?

Sorry, Let me fix that

You receive minimal moderator powers at first. The more you play, the more we respect you. You will get a much higher chance of receiving a promotion to full moderator or even admin. Its just for example you get a new player which donates and wants admin or something like that. Patients is key!

I think he means, that what you described is a VIP system, which you placed directly under a paragraph saying you don't have one.

Giving players minor admin powers and giving players in-game, tangible benefits like a lot of VIP systems do are very different things.

I'm pretty sure that minor admin powers count as "in-game, tangible benefits".

Unless you mean threatening to ban people who kill said admin, then no, it's not any gameplay benefit. Certainly a far cry from the servers that give VIPs bonus health, or more likely to become traitor, or special guns, or that shit. Unless the person abuses admin, it won't affect how he or anyone else plays the game.

I think you and I have different views on what "minor admin powers" are. I assume they can still do some damage seeing as:
(Abuse = Losing this power)
But it's all good, they can take the powers away.

Players are admins, Everyone needs to have some fun.

Our admins arn't tight about breaking a rule or two we might slay you or kick you. But if you keep repeating it, You will be banned.

Its not a VIP system. Everyone (including admins) have the same chance of getting traitor.

The server is being moved over to another box at the moment which is why its down. Hopefully this will cause the server to populate since we are swapping it to a better server.

I'm pretty sure paying money to get an extra = VIP.

Either way. It's not a good idea.

As a neutral observer I would say eyefinity is right.
VIP=extra weapons, more money, skins, etc.
Admin powers=admin powers.
While yes getting admin can result in a 13 year old banning you or kicking but it gives no real benefit in a 1vs1 situation.

The faster they fester the quicker they muster.
dude I am in the gifted program. I am probably more intelligent than you hell I am more intelligent than you. Come one you and 90% of the ZM forum are trolls

We (NMD) don't believe 13 year olds should be admin on our servers. Thats why the highest they will get is half-moderator (People can be different, And if they abuse they lose it as simple)

I've got logs of everything run from an admin/moderator/user

One of the best non abusive admins we have started at 14, going from ZPS Admin to TTT admin.

Still never had one complaint against him, dont judge on age. Judge on performance.

I am 14 myself, I do not judge on age.

EDIT: The post before seemed a little bad... Uhmm, What i meant was if his 13 who donates then he must prove he can be trusted. Yes thats what i meant.
