Hello, my friend and I have recently set up a dedicated TTT server, but we're having a few issues that we don't know how to fix and google isn't helping. Last night while we were testing (just the two of us) after a round ended, my friend was moved to mia and became permanently stuck there. Every round would immediately end since I was the only one spawning. What's odd is that when he went on other servers he was still stuck as mia. I suppose he should delete his cache? but we still don't know  what caused it and how to stop it from happening in the first place. Also, when we had our other friend join, he didn't get any GUI, just the healthbar.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix these issues? Our only addon is ULX, and we have the CS:S files on the server and all of have it installed. There aren't any latency issues. The map we were playing on was clue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

User-fault. Remove ULX and reinstall TTT.

Being constantly stuck in MIA generally points towards spectator mode because there is no body to identify because one is not spawned after being in afk mode afk mode is initialized when he is afk for default 3 minutes.

To get back into playing press f1 goto settings and uncheck spectator mode box or restart gmod works.

missing a gui is as storm said a user problem seen as you actually have the gui loaded and so does your friend that was in spec mode (i assume).

No no nooooooooo....It's not a user fault, it's a server fault. Don't be removing ULX or anything just yet.

The reason he only has the health indicator, and probably thinks he's playing sandbox mode when he's in your server, is because of your server's download system. Your server isn't sending any files for the client to download because it doesn't know whether that client has the files or not already. Assuming you've tried to set up fastdownload, your problem is that the cache folder in your fastdl system hasn't been updated.

Simply start a local server playing TTT. Exit the server once it's loaded.
Find your cache & dua folder, and copy them into your fastdl system.
Done.

As for the permanent MIA thing, yeah, that sounds like he's stuck in spec mode. Press F1, untick spectator mode. You're automatically put in Spec Mode when you're AFK for too long, so keep that in mind. :)

ttt_spectator_mode 0 in console if this does not work, which it should.

All of what you just stated is user-fault.
