This one isn't as bad as pre patched Haste mode but it's still pretty bad.

Hey _______ What does it say when you try to send a message in team chat?

Innocents reply with the message that goes along the lines of "You are an innocent, Use global chat to talk"

Traitors reply with "What buttons team chat?, It doesn't work... 4 seconds later, Pac-Man has found the corpse of ________ he was a traitor"

You'd think that after the first response, the traitors would just copy what the other guy said.

Get off my lawn you rotten kids!
Nah, he's just being 'correct'. It's just JossiRossi's way of dealing with it.

Yeah, That's why I'm saying it's not as bad as haste mode, But it's still there so I can use it every 20 minutes or so.

To be fair, one could always exploit the system one way or another. A server rule regarding using dirty tricks would most likely be the best solution.
Ultimately if you don't want anyone using this against you, you could save this in a .cfg file with using echo. Then when you need it you simply exec it to get the line printed in your console.

You're so buttmad faggot an admin who rdms and ghosts and lets his friends aimbot what a classy faggot, thank god half your server consists of asslickers otherwise nobody would play on your shitty server.

Has a touch of familiarity to the 'How do you spell INNOCENT backwards? You have 1 second to answer' I keep hearing over mic lately. Even thought about putting a sticky note on my monitor in case it happens to me. :p

There is indeed a point where the only thing to do is for players to wise up and for servers to discourage it.

I can't start removing important help text just to combat this, just like I can't show "innocent" spelled backwards on a traitor's screen or plaster a large blinking "don't tell them what colour your crosshair is" warning across their view.

If I saw that I would take it as sarcasm, and probably tell people about my crosshair. That is if I was new to the game. The same way when a person gives you information such as "Delete sytem 32" you automatically do the opposite.

If you get found out due to social manipulation it just means you need to get better at lying.

Disable team chat entirely for innocents.
Add a notice when they are innocent.
"Team chat doesn't work don't use it"

What? This is exactly what happens.

No when you type as an innocent, in team chat the "You are an innocent" message pops up.
My idea is to remove that completely.
So when you do team chat it does nothing. Or could you cycle it around into global chat?
