Med Scanner/"EMK" - Emergency Health Kit

Positives:
-A more dynamic version of 'checking' players while fitting the theme, filling a niche and providing a way to restore lost karma for 'oops' moments by Detectives pulling the trigger too early on suspicious, but innocent, players.
-Introduces new gameplay elements to fill in 'key' roles (Such as staying under cover, being near detectives and making up clever stories as to why you're wounded.) and reduce RDM/griefing (By being able to repair the damage done by these acts)

Negatives:
-Traitors may avoid detectives even more, thus making themselves more suspicious too easily.
-Complicated, see text below.
-Might encourage RDMing by making fights a less of a threat, as someone and their buddy carrying a medkit could patch up between fights and clear the entire map if all players are seperated. But then again, two people working together can likely clear the entire map on their own if they're indeed working together, making this a moot issue.

Theoretical specifics:

-Limited charges
-Lets you view information OF LIVE PLAYERS normally only available on corpses and more.
Wound type (Aka 'this person was killed with a shotgun' would be 'This person was wounded by a shotgun')
Type would also be specific to the injury, such as 'blunt impact' (prop, crowbar) shotgun, small arms fire, etc.
Location of wound ('Back' 'Front' 'Head')
Location would reveal critical information about a person's story, an innocent person is more likely to be shot from behind by a traitor for example, getting hit in the head with a silenced pistol would also give credit to the person's story of 'he attacked me first'. Thus, prevents RDM.
-Displays how long ago they where wounded.
-Allows you to expend charges on USE or on HEAL, you choose to heal the person or not.
-Both players must be close, and holding still for it to work, giving traitors a chance to run away and avoiding freezing people in place to receive healing or inspection.
This mechanic also allows a traitor to get close to a detective without blowing his cover (Prime knifing target as well.)
-Anyone using the kit would receive positive karma (Item can be dropped/used by innocents like the teleporter or knife.)
-CAN NOT USE THE KIT ON YOURSELF, and tossing it to another player to heal you is very risky in this game.
-Reveals if the person is wearing body armor after 20 seconds in the menu IF the target is wounded and holding still for that long.

There is a healing item for detectives in the next release, but it's quite different.
