New TTT server: G4TC.net - Some custom stuff

I come from a community called G4TC (Games 4 The Community - www.g4tc.net) and we've set up a server for TTT.

It's based in the UK (London) and 20 slots, with plans for an extra 2 reserve slots on top of that, one that won't kick people. Round times are 10 minutes.

We are in fact doing some custom stuff.

To begin with, we have made incendiary grenades burn bodies.

And currently are working on a custom map vote system to work on the end of the round.

Incenidary grenades burning bodies seems a bit overpowered.  How is that working out exactly?

Also, its great having another TTT server. I got to check it out sometimes.

Granades burning bodies, that is utterly overpowered.
Traitor just kills everyone in room and uses granade to clear room from 4-5 bodies, makes flare gun useless and is masssive advance over innocent.

It's just for the sake of testing. Here's what we found so far:


People are indeed using it to clear out entire rooms of bodies, however, I've seen many traitors caught, because people are now referring to incendiary grenades as a traitor act, and it's becoming fairly obvious that you're doing it. Flare gun is far more subtle. It has however meant the flare gun has been used less, and as a result I saw some of the less used traitor tools showing up. Body armour and the poltergeist. Which was quite cool, my friend took out 2 guys in a room by poltergeisting a chair.

Poltergeist is one of the most underestimated weapons, if used right you can easily kill 5 people with a single shot and I have.
Poltergeist is great as it is atm and its far from useless. Its most likely hardly used due to it being utterly useless in its early stages.

Server might be down for a while. PCwizdan.lua has been A2C Packet spamming it causing it to crash.

All down the server console. We're gonna try put the necessary things in to prevent it.

Oh, and fire nades burning bodies is a terrible idea. I mean it makes sense, fire + bodies = no bodies, but it's grossly overpowered.

Server has been fixed, we had a custom version of DaF DoS Protector written up to prevent the A2C spam.
