Test release, requires feedback for lighting and gameplay balancing.
Some screenshots not updated yet.

PLOT:
After a successful bank job in the city, the terrorists have escaped by trucks into the countryside, the police have set up roadblocks, so they decide with the worsening Weather to set up shop inside the old abandoned hotel.
The Hotel has been abandoned for about 30 years, there had been a series of sickening murders inside and the hotel was closed down and lay derelict. With the authorities searching for them and the storm worsening they cant leave, but the hotel doesn't want them there, and it will do anything in it's power to eliminate the intruders.












I've finished all the brushwork for the map, lighting and props are still needed.

Looks ok. The aesthetics don't take away from the map but they certainly don't make it better either. The brushwork is blocky and walls seem barren. People love using all the free space they can. Those hallways could use lights on the walls, desks, paintings, etc. That open empty courtyard could use more decoration, like a lot more.

Anyway, it's not bad. The last sentence of your background text sounds like something out of ZM though.

Well it was more me trying to make something a little different from the norm.
Anyway I am adding more props and adjusting the lighting.
Some of the architecture is based on photos of some abandoned stuff I found.





I'll certainly add some more decals though.

Overall its a pretty good map, could use some more ammo and the cupboards in the bar need player clipping.
Also it looks a lot better now the windows give light.

You're so buttmad faggot an admin who rdms and ghosts and lets his friends aimbot what a classy faggot, thank god half your server consists of asslickers otherwise nobody would play on your shitty server.

Thanks, but the ironsights are a bit bugged, like all ironsights for custom skins in gmod. It's usable however.

I like it. The courtyard is better although you really need to smooth down those sharp, angular stone edges. That place in the last screenshot looks in need of some doors.

Thanks, all though I'm not really sure what doors should be appropriate inside the basement. I could easily put one on the small office there and the staff room. Perhaps the storage rooms could have mesh fences to narrow the entrances into them. At the moment the basement becomes a little bit of a death trap, killer lures majority of innocents down their, uses c4 or an incendiary grenade and causes a huge mess. I'll have to find some way of nerfing that.
