Player Reaper was on TTT Soduka's server 12/10/09 and was heavily mic spamming, chat spamming, and as of now, he stands as also crashing the server. Reasons why Im acussing him of crashing the server, he left the game with a (Timed Out) message, then rejoined the server. The second he joined, the server went down. We all tried to rejoin the server again but the second we got to the load screen the server went back down.

I think we do. This way admins can actually see whose causing huge problems, as in greifing, RDM sprees rather then one off problems. I suppose this thread could be renamed to "Suggested player to Ban on Sight (BoS)" as that way we can use it to post more prolific griefers. All we do atm is call an admin to a server, but I hardly think that's fair for example if Alters bans the perp and then he goes and starts causing trouble for Ned or Soduka.

We could probably ask TGB to make a topic and stick it at the top. Call it "Suggested players to Ban on Sight (BoS)". Although you cant post just ANY thing in there, if you're trying to get someoen "BoS" you have to provde several images and or a video along with steamID and date.

They apparently go around crashing servers "Because they can". Is there no way to stop these people? They just seem to think they can get away with everything just because they cant be stopped.

So, is there anything we can do about these players? As I've said, they brag about the ability to bring down any server and that fact that if you ban them they can still bring down their server. Hell, they even ask you to ban them. On top of that a member of theres advertised on a server, "Selling 20min DDoS for 10$."

EDIT- Player who advertised this is: http://steamcommunity.com/id/kinkyasshole . He is also, from what I've seen, maker of Bacon Bot, the best Gmod Aimbot out there apparently.

I would like to add that the former admin ק๏เร๏ภ http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197996155866 is part of this group and admitted to me that he goes around with the group crashing / hacking other servers, after he started calling me names n shit.

I'd suggest not doing this since they actually encourage servers to ban them so that they can DDoS / Crash them. We need to find a way to stop them from DDoSing and crashing our servers.

I noticed this, generally I see this as random bullshit. Furthermore I'm running some DoS security already, of course DDoS can become a problem.
Crashing I sort of doubt atm.

The way I see it, the more idiots packed together in one group. The easier it makes us to ban them all.
Keep in mind that generally they exploit simple security holes in source. Course this is usually done by someone who knows his way around with hacking but the general hack kiddy, simply uses a released exploit which in term gets blocked relatively fast.

Regarding a solution for people like this. Well simply put there ain't one. You will always have people out there who have nothing better to do with their life then to annoy someone else. I don't think valve cares much if you would report this to them.
I also noticed some of them are vac banned, if you do run in some trouble. Enabling VAC might be an useful solution.
