Changelog from B1b:
Removed nerve gas trap
Maintanance tunnel gas trap can be toggled.
Super uber nerve gas death trap for living quarters, listen for the siren and GET OUT!
M16 and "Sledgehammer MGs" added.
New green room in the living quarters (Impervious to gas).
Exploding generator.
Corpses just hanging around.
Decals to improve the feel of the map and help work out where you are, there are ones by ladders showing which side to jump from.



The oxygen for the lab comes from the green room


Unfortunately most of the weapons have been taken from the armoury


Genetic boring corridor, useful for the rifles however



Maintenance tunnels are perfect for ambushes





The staff room is a rather more inviting location

Well tell me what you think, it's a pretty small map but hopefully you should enjoy it.

Looks nice, I love the dark setting. It works very well for TTT.
Throw in some traps and some water pressure sounds to the facility and you should have a great atmosphere.

Well the sounds are there, I'll probably make a way of removing the oxygen from the crawlspaces, as those are the safest places for campers.

Well I'm going to make some adjustments to this version tonight before I release the alpha, some of the rooms need to be made slightly brighter and some of the particle effects didn't work as I intended. I'll also probably add the suggested trap to cut the oxygen from the maintenance tunnels and possibly also add a vent section to the map.

Couple of suggestions:

Make the garbage dump easier to use. Perhaps add a small button next to it to slide stuff in.

I believe you are adding vents to place c4 in. You could use these vents for some other trap systems as well, perhaps some valve's to make some area's flood with an emergency door closing down to contain the flood. Or perhaps some map entity bombs to blow certain rooms up and make them flood.
There's a lot of awesome ways for traps in this map. Think of stuff smashing through windows that will result in the area flooding etc.
Do keep in mind that it is under water, so if the glass would break you might want to go for a extremely fast flood with instant kill.

Also you might want to consider adding a more watery feel to it by placing more glass windows to the facility and show some ocean like environment.
It doesn't have to be very detailed, you could go with a very dark outside look of the water and some small lights to lighten the outside a bit. Just for looks of course but this will help make people feel that they are under water. Throw some sunken boats down there and you'll have a neat underground environment in no time.
In short, think bioshock.

You might also want to consider implementing some of  the new entities like weapon checking.

Well I could attempt to make it so that the vent is a suspended func_breakable that only snaps from explosions, but taht would be very difficult as the c4 isnt really a scripted output, but I'll play around with various things.

Aye I figured as much as half life 1 lacked the exact same thing. Knowing valve they wouldn't have changed that.
This actually sort of slipped my mind, but if your able to make something look half decent then good job to you sir as this ruined most of my waterlab idea's I had back in the hl1 days.

If it ends up being too hard, just stick with the watery effects that you got atm and implement some more of those in the corridors as they looked neat.

B1 Released.
Changelog from a2:
Player spawns are spread out throughout the map.
Added air ducts, security office, lab generator, welcome room and extended swimming pool.
Fixed killer ladder.
Body disposal chute is now sloped and players can fall in.
Added a blast door to the armoury, players can lock each other inside.
