Sup,
Just wondering. Could I change l.Traitor into something to make it say in the bottom left "Rapist" for example or is the data for that stored elsewhere. I really havent looked but it seems logical.

Fuck off, this is a legitimate question.
When TTT was based on being a downloadable gamemode, yes it was possible.
I actually modified the gamemode to do a Hidden TTT modification, where Traitors were made invisible and were only allowed to use crowbars. It worked very well and proved to be very fun.
Now that the game is integrated into garrysmod... I doubt it's that easy.
A possible solution to this is to download the whole gamemode from the garrysmod svn, then put it into a separate gamemode.
While calling the Traitor a 'Rapist' would be pretty fucking stupid, that name changing concept has been used before successfully.

Charles, I never dl'ed ttt before intergration into gmod but it is as simple as editing a couple lines of code. The integretion into gmod doesn't change a thing unless you update because it will overwrite the edited files. So all you must do is simply rename the terrortown folder to terrortowncustom or have a local copy and just copy pasta it back over the updated shit.
Just saying you come off a bit harsh especially since you don't know one way or the other. Then again they did make a simple question into an arguement so I see where you are coming from. But you must know Anon makes me slap myself, and it is starting to leave marks! :(
Edit: If you really wanted to do this in like 2 seconds you could just edit

L.traitor = "Traitor"
Not sure if it would work but theoretically most files call upon the lang file for information.
This is found in terrortown/gamemode/lang/english.lua
This should just modify the print out of Traitor to "Rapist." I really dont feel like updating my local gmod to test and i really dont wanna put it on my server but I think it would work.
