I am trying to rearm a map, I follow the guide to the T, but for some reason when I load up the map in single player I get this:

Weapon/ammo placement script found, attempting import...
Reading settings from script...
Timer Error: [@lua\includes\extensions\string.lua:34] bad argument #1 to 'string_gmatch' (string expected, got nil)

any help on this subject would be great!

This is caused by a change in gmod that I fixed in TTT in v28. The version included in gmod is still v27. It's not possible to run a newer version of TTT on anything other than a dedicated server, because gmod will prefer the version in its GCF over the one you install manually.

So basically you can't test your own rearm scripts without using a server (either by using a "real" one or setting up your own srcds install, which is a pain). It sucks, but I can't do anything about it.
