Rearm scripts don't seem to be working, certain weapons/ammo are completely missing, weapons float mid-air, knives don't work at all, instant weapon swap/reloading, no weapon animations, and probably quite a few other issues after today's GMod update.

Garry broke some file-related functions that prevent rearm scripts from working. It will be fixed on Monday apparently.

If you want, you could try putting this file in /gamemodes/terrortown/gamemode/

Untested, but from what I read about the issue this should make it work.

We didn't have the rearm issues until yesterday's update, I'm aware that a few servers did begin having it after last week's update but we were over the weekend.

I can't see how the server would suddenly be missing CS:S content unless it was because of the update, it isn't a new server. I'll check it out though.

My server actually started having the same rearming issue since the update, which I realized awhile after posting. As yours didn't have it before, that was the same situation with mine. It's probably best to just wait for another update or a fix from BKU.

Considering that he already quoted that, I would say it's probably safe to say that he did see it.

That's nice, but I don't have the time to test things every time Valve updates the engine and gmod breaks completely. Garry has elected to let things break with every update in exchange for the latest engine features (though none of those features you care about unless you play sandbox). It's no longer possible for me to keep track of all that shit and fix it every time.

Either people from the community step up by posting error messages and bug reports more detailed than "X doesn't work", or things will just stay broken.

I wonder if any of the other fretta gamemodes included with gmod even work at this point, considering I've never seen them updated.

Evidently he did and is talking about multiple issues (see the fragmented quotes?), some of which extend past BKU's fix.
