I was just thinking that we should have a section for TTT on the forums rather then being outcast to the "other" next to golden areas such as the "off-topic" in which i hear they like to troll raneman.

Just saying it would take probably 30 minutes (if that never used SMF but if its like VB easy) and would just make things look pretty, organized and generally make me happier.

Simple request would be nice to have it, doubt there should totally be a problem with this, i mean yeah it makes the big red zombie master look a little out of place for an entire section but meh looks the same as this section.

Alternatively make a sub-domain that leads to a different SMF forum which is more TTT orientated with the sections talked about? i know which is easier but still a nice thought. I would offer to probably do some of this but thats like me handing a homeless guy with anger issues a baseball bat inside my china shop (could have gone with bull in a china shop couldn't i?) it could be fine or it could go horribly wrong because i don't know the guy.

But honestly the first option is just probably 30 minutes work? again not entirely sure its SMF idk but still can't be that hard for a new section.

So yeah i don't really see the problem, yes there is no gain ultimately (atleast for you?) but for some who like a slightly more organized forum with sections and the like surely its just better for everyone involved? so that people can post things like there map threads and not get drowned under the constant tech support questions etc?

I am saying i would personally like this, i doubt there is a single objection to the users of this forum that we have our own area so what is the problem?

Would have thought this was going to be a simple done and dusted thread for 3 minutes of one persons time for something that i at least feel could possibly be beneficial, great to see it turned into something degrading and pointless.

Please remember to redirect all traffic for zombiemaster.org towards facepunch.com as i don't see much difference between the user base.

Yeah, this is getting a lot of undue negativity.  I share worbat's sentiment, to be sure.
However, with the size of the TTT playerbase it could benefit from having separate sections for servers/suggestions/tech support/et cetera.

Though of course, BKU's already said his piece, so any further discussion is pretty much pointless.

Exactly. There is no point. TTT is only going to get less popular as time goes by, because it will not get any more big gameplay updates, and this section is already hardly getting any posts as is.

More forum sections etc might have been useful about 6 months ago, but certainly not now. And even in the few months where traffic was high-ish we managed fine.

While i know bad kings say is final I would like to point out that if a community(TTT) is cramped into this small space it will die faster. Like a flower it needs space to grow, if bad king were to give it its own area then things like mods to TTT, mapping, and everything else would be allowed to flurish and not drown in the current ses pool that it is (unorganized)

If TTT got its own area it would be allowed to grow on its own after updates stop, it would survive longer.
