Garrysmod occasionally crash when I become a traitor

Since I have updated to latest svn build, some people (including me) reports that their garrysmod often crashes when they become a traitor. It never crashes when they become an innocent or detective, do you know why? All I have installed is some custom weapons and language files

Most likely you are crashing due to something in the recent gmod updates, not because of TTT. Simply because nothing has changed in TTT that could make you crash. There's also nothing special about becoming Traitor, especially when compared to becoming Detective. It's almost the same thing behind the scenes (you get flagged with the special status and you get credits, that is it).

All I can think of is that you might have a custom weapon set up as being in the traitor loadout (ie. they get it immediately when they become traitor) that crashes the game.

I think I found why, If I am not the only traitor and if there is a fellow traitor with strange characters in his username it crashes

Isn't that an issue with your computer, not TTT?

Read his post. It's not happening only to him, but also to people playing on his server.
