Wont auto download TTT-Mac

so i go to join a TTT server, and it starts downloading whatever map the server is currently using, the bar fills up, it goes through a few more downloads, then it says something like "you do not have (whatever map the server is using) downloaded" and kicks me from the loading screen.
i have garry's mod
i have counter strike source
i tried manual install, however i could only find version 2, and seeing as how we're on version 22 it doesn't help much
anybody got any ideas or links for the latest version? i'm pretty pissed off right now. no reason why it shouldn't work IMO

little help for a mac user?

Which map, which server?
It's most likely the server's problem trying to make you download a map that is too big.

Yea, usally, some servers, restrict the d/l of large maps or maps in general.

also basically every server i try boots me when trying to dl the map
