The splashscreen when you join a server with TTT. It's nice and all but I've ran into countless times where it's bugged on me and no matter how many times I click it wont go away, and if I press escape, or even ~ for console it wont come up because the splashscreen is in the way. The only way for me to fix it is to then close GMod and rejoin the server. It usually happens if there is some kind of FPS lag between the MOTD the server pops up and the Splashscreen covering it..

mmm I have never experienced this problem... The handling to close the splashscreen is clientside. So its defiantly your computer.

Never once had this issue, i imagine as manmax75 has said its probably based on your gmod files/ computer. I think it would be fine to place the option in there but honestly its kinda pointless unless a large amount of players say they have this issue.

Well then I'm just getting extremely unlucky then aren't I? It could possible be the server I'm on... but I would figure since every server uses the same MOTD style, it couldn't just be that.

I use my own motd on my server, can you go on mIne and see if your TTT glitches out?

Just as a test, then you'll know if it's the motd or not.

I doubt having a mac has anything to do with this problem, I've never run into it myself.

SVN r752 adds a checkbox to the settings panel that disables the splash.
