I'm not sure if these have been suggested before. I know I've suggested a few similar ideas, but not exactly the same.
EMP (Electromagnetic pulse):
In short, a EMP device that causes a blast that temporary disables electronics in players inventory, and destroys any electronics on the ground.
Terrorist and the fear of an EMP attack almost go hand and hand, so making it a weapon in TTT would make perfect sense.
Almost identical to a C4 in that you plant it, set the time, others can defuse it, and it affects everyone in a given blast radius. However, instead of killing everyone in the blast radius it only disables any equipped electronics devices temporarily for 30 seconds including: radars, DNA Scanners, visualizers, binoculars, med-kits, C4s, and decoys. If any of these items are not equipped they are destroyed including planted C4s/Decoys. The only exceptions would be other planted EMPs. Essentially, nobody would be immune to EMP blast.
Given that this weapon would not be deadly the radius should be larger though than a C4 blast. Also, perhaps as a way to mess with players make the EMP identical (both in look and sound) to a C4, so players don't know if the blast will kill them or just disable/destroy their items.
Radio Jammer:
In short, a gun that disables others mics temporarily for 10-15 seconds.
I came up with this because it's hard to kill people sometimes with very loud mouths.
The idea is you would get a gun, kind of directional mic, that temporarily disables the mic of one player for 10-15 seconds. This device would be very similar to the flare gun in that you point it at one person, and you have limited ammo. A real radar jammer emits invisible rays, but that wouldn't be fair to players. Instead the radio jammer would shoot projectiles similar to the ones in a newton launcher minus the effects of actually being damaged/pushback.
The sound of shooting the radio jammer itself should be silent to everyone besides the user, and if not at the at the very least a quiet sound. Chat can still be used by players shot by the gun, as it would be to OP otherwise. Finally, unless a player realizes they have been hit by the radio jammer they have no idea they are muted because their mic icon still comes up.

I like it, but if you plant an EMP and your teammate plants a C4, you will hurt their plan. It does disable some detective stuff but it also messes up Traitors
Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Not exactly the same as I suggested. However, radar, jammer, and radio were all used somewhere in those posts.

I suggested an item to disable mics a while ago, not sure what was said.
But i think the jammer is a really cool idea.
