Sure it can, automatedowner must have seen kryogenics pull the knife, and started to shoot him, at roughly the same time kryogenics must have thrown the knife.

That has happened to me before. He threw the knife at me, and I blew his brains out.

That happened to me before, but I was the last traitor, and the innocent had a knife.

I was a detective with a knife and radar and I knifed the last traitor. And several times as innocent as well.

Nope. If traitor dies before the round officially ends then innocents win.
Actually had the best goddamn thing ever happen like this:
Detective had a flaregun, traitor, shoots him, detective burns him. Traitor kills detective, but burns to death and innocents win.
