In at least two TTT Servers I find myself downloading (every single time I join, including map changes) VTFs and VMTs of Tutorials 1-6, two "thump sounds" and scope. Even after I download them I still see black/pink texture squares (which is why I've avoided using the sniper). I searched for these file in the garrysmod folder but they're not there. How can I fix this?

All those files are in your gmod GCF. Maybe do some reinstalling.

I found I didn't need to reinstall. I just placed the files to where they were supposed to be. They all work except the "thumps." I still have to find out where that one wants to be placed.

Get GCFScape and extract your garrysmod gcf files to your garrysmod/garrysmod folder.
