So I had forgotten completely about TTT for a bit and just recently remembered it and decided to try and play for a spell, but no matter what TTT server I try to connect to, I get a "the server you are trying to connect to is running an older version of the game" error.

Any Ideas?

The servers have not updated Gmod, wait until they do.

I used to play on TDR , I am thinking its from there. question resolved in any case. Hope the servers update soon.

Ah, well.  Then I did meet you there. 
Anyway, reading facepunch a lot of servers are having this problem even after updating.
