Should have to be bought, not standard equipment, i mean cmon, you giving detectives armor AND DNA scanner, it makes the whole thin too easy for detectives, make them have to buy dna scanners, i beg you.

Without the DNA Scanner, what makes a Detective a detective?
And since the Detective is a high-priority target, the Detective needs protection from Traitors.

They used to have to buy it but it made the Detectives pretty useless. At least now they're balanced enough to be useful.

i dont think so, eitehr make it buy, or reuce the dna legnth time, because if your t, then its nearly impossible to stay alive on small maps.

I would suggest you code or find someone who can code and make the change yourself. I don't give a damn about the pubby experience in TTT; it's a very awful one and it gives TTT a bad name to anyone looking into it.

Burn the bodies.
Don't suck at TTT.

It really does. It's basically ZM all over again; most servers inhabited by terrible players and game-breaking upgrades.

It's basically just like keeping your baby teeth when they fall out, except its a foot.

I've never had problems with the DNA scanner if I'm traitor and kill a decetive I pick up the scanner and hide his corpse.

I'm surprised by the number of bad traitors I've seen them knife a decetive, then leave the DNA with the corpse, when I come across the body I scan and kill the traitor just that easy. If they just picked up the scanner they would have had no problems.

That said it surprises me how few people use it. I find it very handy. Yet I rarely see someone pick it up innocent or traitor.

Theres a thing called a flare gun.

And a magneto stick for hiding the body. And the ability to kill someone from a longer distance (makes DNA go away quicker). And of course Detectives being a huge target.

As traitor, DNA hurts you most if you knife or if you're careless. Some subtlety and smartness is rewarded.
