Ok,so I was on de_motel,I forget which version but that doesn't matter in this glitch. So,I went up to a building and saw a knifed body and Id'd it and got the DNA from the knife.I was scanning it when all of a sudden the icon disappeared,and I noticed the body was burnt. So,how would a body being burned ruin the dna sample you picked up before it was burnt? This is sort of similar to the C4 dna glitch.

Nice catch, that's pretty much exactly like the c4 glitch. Glad you found this one out.

What version was the server?

The C4 bug cannot happen since v15, the way DNA samples are stored was changed and they are now unaffected by entities being removed. In fact the only thing that can make a sample go away is deleting it.
