Well, currently it's only working on our default map... That doesn't even make sense.

It's because script enforcer doesn't work on the first map load after a server restart. I already found that out.

I think they have permission issues when it comes to the source updater, because I checked the changelog.txt file on my server and it hasn't changed since last year. Hopefully a full wipe will help. :/

I'm positive. Our server provider ran a dedicated source repair tool that checks every file to make sure it's updated.

Still getting the animation errors, and we're updated. Anyone have a solution?

Only one I got so far if you want a playable game is to turn off scriptenforcer, but you'll need to watch your server closely.

There should be a file where you can add files to the SE exception list (I think), you might need to add some files to that to fix the issue. I would show you our file but the box is currently down.

I could be wrong with this though.

I would have expected that, but when I look to see what files it does block, exactly like the log above, nothing much related gets blocked. Nothing saying "Ignoring base/gamemode/cl_init.lua because SE is on and it's not in the VFS." The only thing SE is blocking is what is in the list above. No Lua errors on the server either.

Do you have any other addons/mods installed to your server?

Only evolve, but this happened right after the update. It's like some needed LUAs are not executing on the client. There is no BaseClass for the BaseGamemode. That's why it can't find the 'UpdateAnimation' hook.

well i updated today and i have flying weapons and people spawn where ever they point a mouse ..

Dear God that's horrible. I disabled SE for now for a temp fix. Server is on high alert at all times now. I really hope this can be an easy fix though.

As for the animation error:

[terrortown\gamemode\player_ext_shd.lua:226] attempt to call field 'UpdateAnimation' (a nil value)(Hook: UpdateAnimation)

I looked at the line and for some reason on the client, there is no UpdateAnimation hook in the 'Base' gamemode code or it just didn't properly load because of SE.

Anyone have any advice on how I can fix this? (without turning off script enforcer)

No effort is being made to counter exploits or balance issues.

A one shot kill pistol- possibly one of the most overpowered weapons I've seen.
A jihad bomb which removes all the skill from killing innocents, defeating the purpose of TTT; Press mouse1 and run into a group of innocents, and you'll have more kills then you could get in an entire round without using it.
An anti-exploit weapon which is prone to exploits itself, allowing it's user to be propelled anywhere they want with no regard to the map maker's intentions.
A climbing weapon which again allows various exploits to be performed, but much harder.
Weapons with nothing special about them that are in the game for no purpose other then to shit out more custom content.
The one place where they actually cared about exploits was their removal of the crowbar's ability to open locked doors... oh, I'm sorry, it was an excuse to create the lockpick.
