This looks like a (bad) remake of the ZS airplane map.


You obviously have no idea what a good map is, and probably think dm_richland looks better than this.

This is an amazing looking map, and the amount of work and skill that went into it is very apparent.

Trying to lower the distance of the ttt_traitor_button entity on one specific map using the lua_run entity.  Basically need a single line of code that will do this.

I realize in the ttt_traitor_button/init.lua there is a local range of 1024.  I don't exactly know how I can lower this using a lua_run entity which will be activated toward the start of the map load.

Why I'm doing this is because I want a traitor button, but I don't want it to be reachable from such a far distance.  I need the hud, instead of the physical button.

There's two buttons on the roof of the office building in concentration, where you climb the flags.  Once you press both it'll activate the cow.  Both buttons are invisible.


Funny you post this though, because I'm actually working on a new version of concentration as I write this..

There's a couple of servers like ECGamers which has like custom items in the traitor/detective shop,
Like golden deagle,AWP etc..

I know how to get these weapons, (www.garrysmod.org), but i wanna know how to put them in one of the shops,
And i wanna know if i can make some of them donator only?


Probably TNS you're talking about.  We have a custom and normal server.

It's easier to look at already made traitor weapons and go from that, though.

Displacements could use some work, but it looks pretty dang nice overall.  (Looks better than the current "THE THING" ttt map, even though that one is pretty fun)

I was referring to the logo on the billboard, actually. It's tacky and tasteless.

Seems to me you're the one whining about someone giving you feedback about your map. Chill bro.


I like feedback, negative, or positive.  It helps me improve.  But this isn't even about the map it's self.  Go play an original TnB roleplay map and tell me you won't see a big ass logo on a billboard.

This map was designed for TNS servers, I just released it to others who may want to play it.  To whine about a custom texture is more tacky than the texture it's self.  It's on our server, designed for our server, like many of the other maps in production right now.  It doesn't distract people in the middle of gameplay and make them say "I must stop playing to look at that extremely distracting advertisement which draws away from the map".

I've played with people, that doesn't happen.  Like I said, if you don't like it, don't play it.

Still stupid. Ad for the spectator room is stupid too, considering you "spawn" there when you die.

Also, there's a ladder that is broken on the side of the main building, might want to get that fixed.


If you can't deal with a TNS logo in the spectator room, don't play this map or any of my maps.

Over at TNS we're proud of the maps we make, and it will be displayed.  Bitch and whine, but it's not my fault you don't have mappers.  I find it annoying to say the least when people complain about 2 logos on the map.  If you don't agree that's fine, but to go and whine about it literally will not change a single thing.  So just don't bother.

Slumcity, 67thway, cloverfield, and a new map that is getting released soon all will have the logo.  If you don't like it, find different maps.  Part of our community is mapping, and we like to make people aware of that.


Also,
I know about the ladder, i'll fix it in the next and probably final version.

*B1 was pulled due to an issue with the map.*

Here are the changes in B2:
-Fixed some bugs
-Added ladders
-Added 2 traitor features
-Changed how spectator teleporting works
-Removed a lua entity that wasn't supposed to be in the original map
-Removed 1st popup (left the spectator one, though)

Look for specific maps that have "ttt_" infront of them.

They're usually designed specifically for the gamemode.

Great map, but I've always wondered why you stick with dark and gloomy maps with low lightning and that run-down look.  Personal preference?


I like the dark feeling to my maps, kind of creepy in a sense.  It just looks a lot more interesting rather than a bright sun and sky above the map like every other map.

Like a 90% chance the name will change.

Map dedicated to TNS-Gaming.com, just like my other map Cloverfield was.















Lighting in picture below is not done what so ever, it's just a placeholder for now.  You'll notice there aren't even light bulbs.

Reason I'm posting it is because it will end up being one of the most important parts of the map, but it may be one of the very later things to get finished.

For example, if it starts disabled and is enabled.  It will still be enabled next round and will have not reset it'sself like all other entities.

I really like your maps. Where did you get that skybox in cloverfield and concentration? Did you make it yourself?


I think I got it from FPS-Banana.  There's lists and lists of skybox textures there.
