1  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Knife balance discussion on: October 13, 2010, 03:37:51 AM
Why not give the knife a bleed out effect since there is no one hit kill anymore. The only means of removing it is if a detective pulls it out

Anyone have trouble with the hit detection on the Shotgun and the Knife lately?

Basically a combat helmet that works like body armor except it protects against head shots
4  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Kill Notification Idea on: February 07, 2010, 11:52:37 PM
So how about a kill notification for spectators and dead people to see? This would help clear alot of "I think he's rdming" or "I think he's the traitor" kinda stuff

For example

James Rossi *Uzi symbol* Some guy (or blue if he's detective)

Note this isn't for living people just the dead

Thoughts?

So one of the things I liked about TTT was having to be paranoid. Gaining peoples trust and making friends or using their trust to your advantage to stab them in the back

The detective damages this a little. Knowing who the one innocent guy in the game is and you can rely on him to watch your back. He's also the biggest target for the traitors so you have to be extra paranoid about everyone.

So instead of making everyone aware of who the Detective is why not make him unknown to everyone?
6  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Penumbra Map? on: January 25, 2010, 01:17:20 AM
For those who have ever played the game Penumbra Overture. Then you know it s a very dark map with lots of little places to hide or hide a body. Old creepy mine's with lots of little monsters running around that want to munch on your head

Now imagine this game without the monsters and traitors. Sounds fun to me

A generator room that once repaired can be turned on so its easier to see or sabotaged by traitors so its harder for you too see if the guy next to you has a knife or not.

A old shed in the mine with a small tunnel system dug out underneath it by some kind of monster. Perfect for sneaking around or hiding bodies

A frozen underground lake with 3 small islands in the middle of it. The furthest island having a small building with a testing chamber. The only problem is getting to that island since the ice is not as thick as it looks

A old armory filled with the best weapons any innocent or traitor could want however this needs a key that's been lost somewhere in the mine

Thoughts? Suggestions?
7  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Traitor Gadgets? on: January 10, 2010, 02:07:22 AM
Cloak

A cloaking device that works similar to the Spy's from TF2. Except you get 2 charges with it and you cannot use any weapons while its active. The charge's last 30 seconds - 1 minute depending on if your moving or not. If standing still the charge will last a bit longer however if your moving the charge gets used up quickly

This would seem like a very useful device should a traitor be trapped in a building with no exit and needs to hide fast or make a quick escape

Dart Gun

A dart gun the blurs a person's vision for 8 seconds. Giving the traitor time to escape or kill someone without them being able to see whats going on. The gun would hold only 3 darts and it does no damage at all

Landmine

A single landmine that is invisible to innocent and explodes if walked on. Traitors can only use one of these and has the blast radius smaller then a explosive barrel so it would kill one person at most

Vampire Gun

A gun that sucks the life out of people and gives it to the traitor. However it is very loud and holds only 2 charges. Each hit only gives 25 health back to the traitor
