I feel as though many innocents never seem to read the last words on the body they identify.  My suggestion would to be the moment they identify the body, it would to put it in chat saying the Last Words so everybody can see, and covertly looking at the body would not trigger it.  Could give traitors more incentive to hide the body some more.

I have seen people get 8 kills in one blast with it on Clue,

It is pretty easy to get a ton of kills on Clue though, the entire map is so small it is pretty difficult not to die by the C4.

Thanks, going to bind that to another key.

There is a checkbox in the settings menu. If you're attached to convars, it's ttt_voicechat_topleft 0.

Thanks, that fixed it.  Couldn't access the menu on this Mac right now as all the F1-F15 buttons on it adjust brightness, etc.

What was the command to make the voice chat icons on the bottom right instead of the top left again?

Well, played on the server.  Well...sadly there is a LOT of people complaining for the smallest reason.  Got detective...and well people threatened to kill me if I didn't put down a health station(Why should I, there is traitors that can use it?).  So I put it down, and eventually a traitor gets a hold of it and nearly kills everyone.
EDIT: Its not THAT bad but the people I been playing with aren't that smart.

Going to play on the server before I give any criticism about the weapons, etc that they are using.

The HUGE is fine, if it's your playstyle. If it isn't, kill someone and take their gun.

This, I believe the HUGE is even one of the more powerful weapons with it's only disadvantage is range and no extra ammo.  It is pretty much perfect for close quarters.
9  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: The Discombobulator. on: December 24, 2010, 03:02:49 AM
Discombobulator is pretty good for innocents.  For example, sometimes I get attacked by a traitor and I am in panic so I throw it.  It goes off, I get that quick escape and manage to tell the others who the traitor is.

To be honest, I think the crowbar is fine the way it is.  It is mostly a weapon so other people don't feel threatened.

I've had a concept for simplifying the DNA scanner lying around for quite a while, but since making it a default weapon for Detectives I've not had many complaints about its supposed complexity. The simplification would be as follows:
- scanner only stores one sample
- no right click menu (because there are no different samples to select)
- charge bar is just shown on scanner's HUD
- as soon as a sample is gathered it automatically repeatedly scans for it
- right click deletes the current sample to stop the scanning
- grabbing a new sample replaces the current one

All you'd need to explain is "point at fresh corpse and click".

The question is, of course, whether removing the ability to have multiple samples would affect skilled detectives.

That seems pretty neat but I would miss the old one.  Maybe making that new detective scanner standard, and the old interface can be enabled using options?

Pretty much been suggested before.
13  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: A traitor Equipment: PeperSpray on: November 11, 2010, 07:00:42 AM
Don't really like the idea, seems to overpowered.  Like ManMax said, the knife was nerfed for being overpowered.  Being able to blind a person would render them near helpless.  This would be the new knife that everyone buys for a cheap kill.
14  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Suggestion: Skeleton Key, Scanner 2.0 on: October 31, 2010, 01:06:53 AM
Both of the ideas sound pretty neat.  However, how many uses could that skeleton key be used for?  Saying the detective/innocent doesn't take the guy for their own personal use.  The scanner worries me a bit because if it is thrown off by a few yards, they might shoot another innocent by mistake rather than giving a clear answer.  However, the idea of it alerting the person being scanned is pretty good.
15  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Land Mines Traitor Item on: October 29, 2010, 08:06:04 PM
The discombobulator for a land mine seems it would be more useful than the Newton Launcher.  Since you would get 3-5 and it is far more useful if it is using different types, although all depends on the situation.

ZM_Downtown or Diamondshoals, they always fit the atmosphere.
17  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Traitor idea - The Disguiser Mk. II on: October 23, 2010, 09:37:56 PM
Make it not allow you to use text/mic when disguised, or when you do make it show YOUR name. And also make it unable to choose people who are alive, only bodies who are unidentified. This way no one will be "rdmed", and no one will be banned for text/mic spam.

That would certainly make it more interesting, how about once every 3-4 seconds when you have it on, your name turns grey for a brief moment?  So people can tell it is a traitor and therefore he would have to be more careful.
18  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: NL Buy Menu Icon on: October 23, 2010, 01:07:32 AM
That was a pretty good watch.

Got to agree, just watched it for the past hour.
19  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Traitor Equipment - Fail Safe on: October 22, 2010, 02:43:12 PM
To be honest, I don't really like it.  Gives innocents too much of a disadvantage.  A traitor could have flare gunned bodies and it would be impossible for them to find it if he bought that.
20  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: TRAITORS - What is your favourite tactic? on: October 15, 2010, 10:57:39 PM
Favorite tactic is usually the disguiser and teleporter combo.  Grab a rifle, go somewhere like a high rooftop. Snipe until they see you. Teleport to your location and there is your extra weapon there.  Use that, no one will know and all be confused.
