city45 looks like it might be pretty good.

I also have a few CS maps that I think could be decent, they are:

de_navarrobase http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/117020

de_desert_atrocity http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/27243

I'll try putting the weapons in soon, but if someone else wants to, go ahead.

Also another thing I've been thinking about, has anyone checked with the authors of any of the custom maps that have been TTT armed?

Now that it's been mentioned, a true desert setting at high noon would be pretty fucking sweet. Put in some canyons, maybe make the train go around a sheer cliff. I could think of ideas for a map like that all day.

The way I would go about a map like this though, I would actually make the train move along a huge circular track along the outside of the map, but not extremely close to the boundary, so that you'd be able to put stuff on the outside of the track closer to the skybox. But then I'd put a slight haze in the map, so you wouldn't be able to see clear across the map. I would probably make the train stop at random predefined places too, like outposts or small towns.

Wait, are you talking about while they're in the act of disguising, or after? Because if it only happens while they're in the act, I don't really think it should be considered a bug. Just a lucky person catching the traitor doing something traitorous.

I'd like to know why myself. Every round there's a group of like 3 or 4 retards that decide that they want to play with the fucking dumpster.

My record is 4 right now, and I can really only get a good streak going if I get in when there's a scuffle already going on, or if I do a sort of rush.

Does anyone know if I can use the traitor check entity to prematurely end a round(probably by killing the traitors instantly, but if it can just end it that would obviously be better)? I have a few scenarios that I just thought up that I think might be fun to do.

--1--

The innocents have bombs like in ttt_theThing that they need to plant in certain places to win. For example they need to blow up a monument/apartment building/government building/other site of interest.

--2--

The innocent terrorists have different goals that they have to finish before an imminent death(bombs implanted in brains by traitors, really any far fetched idea that could be turned into a Michael Bay movie), and after a set time they all die.

--3--

This one expands on 2 just a bit, How about a bank heist/jewel theft in which the innocent terrorists have a set time to get in and out before the traitors' backup arrives on the scene, at which time the innocent terrorists lose.

--4--

Another expansion on the set time to do goals idea; The traitors, after infiltrating the terrorist cell, have to gather information/evidence against the terrorists and make their getaway.

---

I also think a change to the knife might be good. I was thinking maybe making it so anyone that finds a corpse with a knife can pull the knife out, rendering the knife usable again. But it wouldn't just be like "Press E on corpse, receive knife", it should take 5 - 6 seconds of holding E before they get it. Also making a knife kill have a 1 in 4 or 5 chance for the victim to let out a loud death noise, like a scream or something. Like an "AH BITCH YOU STABBED ME IN THE BACK FUCK!" sort of thing.

That's supposed to be a rhetorical question right?

Sounds like you got some optimizing to do. It probably has something to do with the underwater area you mentioned.

Put in your gamemodes folder.

Yea, me, Pestoolio and Marphy were the traitors one round, and the last innocent was in the test chamber, we all went in there and stood there for a minute talking and stuff, then I opened it and raped the guy with my crowbar while he was completely helpless. It was really funny to me.

I think it would by default, because you're not doing any damage to the guy, the ground/whatever he lands on is. Which also means that the traitor wouldn't get any points for it.

O man, that would be amazingly effective and possibly hilarious on canyon, but that's the only map I can think of right now that it would work in. I'm all for something like a push function though, but it seems like we're starting to nag tgb just a bit.

Quick question, I sort of asked about this in the original SK thread, but I'll ask it here. For people who are mapping for TTTT, what Hammer configuration do you use? Engine version and game I mean. Also, say, I used Garry's Mod configuration, What weapons and ammo do I need to place so that TTT can do it's thing and make the actual TTT weapons and ammo spawn?

I've found that being able to see the death notices in TTT creates more panic and paranoia, which makes it more fun. I just wish the scoreboard wouldn't update until the round is over.

O man tonight was epic, I guess some people from TDR found the server so there were plenty of people on. It was Midknight, boxii, some guy named Robot, and some random other guys. Also Notary was there.

Anyway soon after I joined the game I got into an epic shootout in a stairwell on Canyon, and we were both using shotguns. The other guy was the traitor, and we hit each other like 3 times before he finally died. In the middle of the fight I started getting a bit frantic so I accidentally dropped my gun in the middle of the fight and it landed behind the guy, so I had to rush him so I could get it back.

Later in the game after I think my second time being the traitor, everyone started to point fingers at me every round, it got kind of funny. I think at one point either boxii or robot was like "Ok I'm gonna shoot King(part of my alias in Steam right now as my firend stole Goatfetus), if he isn't the traitor you can shoot me in the face." So he actually walked over to me and shot me. The whole round up to and including that point I was just thinking to myself lolwut. Anyway as soon as it popped up that I was innocent, I think he got half a mag of mac 10 in his face.
