With the letest version of ttt comes a bug with spawns. People sometimes spawn in the cieling on the map (i saw this on cleudo), i have no idea why this happens but it only started happening since i added v5.

Anyone else getting this?

Yes Phoenix i agree with you, we have recently updated our server to TTT V5 and we are experiencing the same problem. People spawn in random places such as walls, water etc. We are going to downgrade to V4 until this is fixed.

I'd like to know what maps this has been seen on, in case it is related to a specific spawnpoint entity (there are several that mappers can use). These I know of:
ttt_cluedo
ttt_canyon
ttt_camel

Also, has it ever happened in the first round that is played on a map?

I believe I've fixed it. Here's an updated build:

I'd pop it up, but it seems the FTP to my server has crashed again, one of the main reasons why im moving hosts...

I'll try it. It happened to me on ttt_thething. I spawned where my specatator window was...right down the mine shaft.

Just played a full map of ttt_camel, and it didn't seem to have any issues with the newest version.

Thanks 'Bad King Urgrain' the bug had been fixed in V6.
