We've installed the latest versions of MM and SM, players connect for 30 seconds then the server crashes.  Seems to happen when another player joins. Not finding a whole lot of information on this any ideas?

Until garry releases the latest server update, SM will remain broken, www.garry.tv is his latest blog.

For a change it has nothing to do with GMOD or Garry..
Sourcemod needs to be updated, or rather the gamedata files that sourcemod reads for garrysmod.

So this is a problem that Allied Modders  has to fix, not Garry. (for a change)

Removing the SDKTools in sourcemod\extensions lets Sourcemod run and players join ok.
And addons like RconLock and Sourcebans to work fine.

KAC (Kigens Anti-Cheat) does not work to well with the above sourcemod\gmod combo as players just get stuck at connecting to server.
Also had a few friends say that while the above works, their server has random crashes, and removing sourcemod makes them stop.

So I guess at the moment the only thing to do is wait for a Sourcemod update.

Gimme a joint and 3 hours and I can come up with a logical system for karma :D

I found this on SM site: https://bugs.alliedmods.net/show_bug.cgi?id=4489

It have yet to test it, but it does change things involved with gamedata files.  I've made the changes on a newest version and will test this afternoon after work.

This does work and we are no longer crashing with SM loaded.
