I Rise from the Ashes.

You probably know whats coming, just by reading the title but for those that don't i'll explain.

Basically, we all know Fretta voting does GAMEMODE votes, but thats for fretta, not Terrortown dedicated servers!

So basically, im asking for a convar, which we can change from 0 to 1, which wont affect those running fretta ttt.

ttt_fretta_maponly (Default 0.) // Allows you to set TerrorTown to only do MAP votes, instead of triggering Fretta to do Gamemode votes.

This would allow us, the dedicated server owners, to have a votemap, without having to remove all the other gamemodes except sandbox, fretta and terrortown from the gamemodes/ directory.

This would also change the text in the "Vote to change gamemode" in fretta_must_die to "Vote to change map".

Thanks for reading.

Just use sourcemod, I have no idea why people don't. Compatibility is not really an issue.

This idea would be great would work very well for the dedicated TTT servers out there in terms of picking and choosing maps something ECG would like to use.

This has been high on my list for the last two weeks or so, but I just haven't had that much time.

This is in SVN now as ttt_fretta_mapvoting (def. 0). Turns out reusing fretta's mapvote stuff was pretty easy.

Ok So this works kinda basically i had the server running all fine and what not and 3 players voted to change and 2 voted to stay then the vote for a new map did not come up.

What are the percentages required for change and if there is a convar i can change to reduce/ increase this number?

The Fretta convar fretta_votesneeded defines this. It's 0.7 by default, meaning 70% of the vote. 3 players out of 5 is 60% so that's why it didn't change.

Do you mean the "Bob voted to change the gamemode" chat message? That comes up when someone presses the vote for change button in the F1 menu. It won't actually start a gamemode vote, only a map vote, I just haven't changed it to say "map" yet.

Is there a way you can make it so it doesn't vote every single round?
