Costom weapons wont work

i made 2 custom weapons and i also tried to put the AK47 you can download from the TTT website on the server but it still wont work ...

i've put the maps calles weapon_TTT_<weaponname> in the weapon map in terrortown and also putted the names in cl_equip.lua or someting but nothing i tried worked. i really don't know how to fix this and i got lots of bugs out of trieing this. like when traitor you push context menu but won't see any weapons or so and the menu wont go away anymore...

There is no reason to ever touch cl_equip.lua.

If the guide on the TTT site isn't clear enough for you to get the AK47 example working, then I can't help you.

well it's just the ak47 does not show up when i as traitor use the context menu to buy weapons or so ...

Tell us how you fixed it in case anyone else has the same problem and finds the forum post about it.

I cannot tell you how frustrating is to have a problem, google search for the answer, and to find posts of people who are asking the same question, and then instead of telling how they solved it, they just say that they figured it out, or its fixed.
