Maybe in time if you follow the guidance of highly skilled forum posters like nrich588 you will achieve a community as good as "http://wzgaming.net"...

The .net defiantly makes this a far more professional community than the OP's.

The funny part is that he still promotes it through his profile.

Ahh gotta love how every time I read a new thread on this sub-forum, it's always the same bitches on their periods!

But I guess it's not just the core TTT community, it's almost all of Garry's Mod.

If they don't buy a cheat, they resort to making one or finding out methods to cheat.

People actually pay for scripts?
4  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: |:NxS:| TTT CUSTOM and VANILLA! :D on: December 16, 2011, 11:30:15 PM
Not true.  Most of my TTT gameplay has been spent in vanilla knife servers, meaning either instakill or not depending on the release version.  I'm not going to argue with you about the merits of the current knife, as it has been done so many times before, but I personally hate stumbling into a "vanilla" server only to find that the only way it can be construed as "vanilla" is in its adherence to the general expectations, meaning modded knife among possibly other overdone things (large max player count, haste mode off, etc).  When I want to visit a vanilla server, I want it to be vanilla in the absolute sense, not the relative.

What this guy said. And if you can't get a kill with a vanilla knife, then you're clearly playing the terrorist role all wrong.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL! Someone is disagreeing with me so I'll just tell him off cuz I'm a faggot who can't take constructive criticism!

Dude if you burned through 3 communities, then there's something seriously wrong on your part. Either you're an asshole and everyone got sick of your shit, or you can't run a server properly(i.e. make good rules, have a leash on your admins or even bring anything interesting to the table.) You, and/or the other people around you can't run a fun and decent server, then don't try anymore.

On a side-note, the only good thing I noticed was the draining mic.
6  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Synyster Gaming (Balanced Custom TTT Server) on: December 04, 2011, 08:12:16 PM
Sounds like another shitty TTT server with a slew of fascist-like rules.
7  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Simple TTT Tips on: November 28, 2011, 10:44:52 PM
3. If your status as traitor has been betrayed to the rest of the server, cease mic and text chat to everyone else. It is suprisingly easy for you to get cocky if you have taken out a few attacking innocents and say something to notify others of your location.

4. As detective, BE USEFUL. Most detectives sit idly about like they are an innocent. Detectives are there to identify traitors if they get too careless and leave a body lying about with fresh DNA on it. Make sure to report to the scene of a death to see what you can learn.

Tell us something we don't know. -__-

3 is only useful if 3D mic sound is enabled in the server. If not, then it doesn't really matter if they've found you out or not.

4 is rather obvious. But most of the time, the detectives are the ones who are killed first because it's strategic to take them out first(I.E. because of armor and health stations.)

i do have a website but atm but cba to work on it  cos of college
so Facebook was easiest to set up and keep peeps in the loop
and it is connected with the twitter too @ https://twitter.com/#!/3XITGAMING

I was being sarcastic with my post dude. I fucking loathe servers who do that shit! Though I do applaud you for keeping the server vanilla in terms of gameplay.
9  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: [Server] 3XIT GAMING TTT Vanilla on: November 27, 2011, 06:46:52 PM
Umm cool, I guess? Though why do you have a facebook page? Are you trying to market your server like every single piece of shit RP server in GMod? If so, I would suggest a Twitter page that only 30 people will ever read.
10  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: A Humble Suggestion on: November 15, 2011, 10:28:24 AM
Sorry but your RP thread is in another forum.
11  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Just thinking on: November 08, 2011, 07:42:04 PM
Not to mention that hardly anyone would play it as with most source mods.

Zombie Master, Zombie Panic: Source, Pirates, Vikings and Knights 2, Age of Chivalry and possibly even NMRiH. All these mods hit over 100 people almost everyday.

And two of those mods have ceased development. People would play TTT if it were a Source mod, but like Anon said, too much work and would require additional ressources like new models, guns, etc, and those who make them.
12  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Trouble in Terrorist Town - 24/7 - Vanilla Server. on: November 08, 2011, 12:15:14 AM
Like the idea of a vanilla server, but it will peter out in the end and die, since there are a bunch of vanilla TTT servers out there. You might wanna try having both a vanilla and custom server at the same time. That is if you're serious about having a dedicated TTT server.
13  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Your top 3 maps? on: October 23, 2011, 07:24:50 PM
Don't really got a top 3, but I know Lost Temple is my favorite. Haven't really played TTT extensively to have a top 3.
14  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Restrict Last Maps Played on: October 16, 2011, 05:57:15 AM
I can't help you, but I know for a fact such a script exists for TTT. It was used on a server I used to play on! I'll try to find something for you.

Might I suggest facepunch?
15  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Coder For Hire [FREE] on: September 25, 2011, 04:28:51 PM
I have been looking for one for ages, been to many sites (especially allied modders) but haven't found one. If you could direct in a direction, that would be very useful. :)

He's talking about coding in Lua, specifically for Gmod. Allied Modders usually deals in SourceMod plugins.

Also, http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/ if you're looking for GMod content.
16  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Coder For Hire [FREE] on: September 25, 2011, 03:47:32 AM
If you aren't busy, it would be nice for somebody to make a "shop menu" plugin for garrys mod.

A user presses F3 to bring it up, theres three sections:
Guns
Models
Trails

Guns would allow them to purchase a gun (even custom ones with swep)
Models would change their model (for life)
Trails would make a short trail that follows the player (can be turned off)

If you could make this, it would be very helpful. Thanks :D

I don't know about the gun thing, but I'm pretty sure there are public "store" menu plugins available to the public with trails and models. It would be useless to work on new ones! Unless you can make them much better.

Honestly i don't understand who would care, i mean if you want to stop thats understandable but the reason just sounds stupid because it doesn't seem like it would be likely to happen i mean come on why care? they are calling you a liar for saying you are going to stop again why care? i know its your life and whatever but at no point can i think a good reason to come and stab someone over coding some small silly sweps lol

Or a troll! I mean his name IS Anonymous so you can make a possible correlation about him being a faggot from 4chan.
18  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Tator Guide? on: August 26, 2011, 05:15:46 PM
I remember these kids made this one video (on here somewhere...) but it was pretty horrible and had custom content out the ass which made the game play/ explanation only relevant to the one server thus making it useless.

This, and also there is no definitive optimizing gameplay for TTT.(speaking for vanilla here) You gotta be deceptive, a good liar, and VERY attentive. It IS a game of wits!
19  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Your favorite style of TTT server? on: August 24, 2011, 06:24:28 AM
^derp. Don't come to mine please...

Wow what an asshole kind of way to treat a potential new player? Have you ever thought that he's a changed player or was banned under unfair circumstances? Seriously I feel like punching you in the face right now!
20  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Your favorite style of TTT server? on: August 22, 2011, 12:51:20 PM
It's all about the players you want, when you go vanilla you will usually get the original and or experienced TTT players and MOSTLY seem more matured but you will also get somewhat less players, now on the other hand if go with custom you will probably get all of the new players who are MOSTLY below the age of 15, immature, annoying, and don't know the mechanics of the game, but you will also probably get more players then standard too.

I like vanilla servers because I know what to expect. If I join a custom I have to learn the new guns or everything is overpowered and stupid (ie sucide bomb). Vanilla servers I already know everything is balanced and how to use everything. And like that guy said there's more mature players in vanilla, rather then a lot of kids looking for gimmick weapons or server owners making donators over powered. Also often times custom server have very high max player counts which makes everything a clusterfuck.

Ditto what both these guys said. That being said, I've been on a FEW custom TTT servers with very little changes from vanilla that I thoroughly enjoyed. But yea, my greatest pet peeves are the huge server population(32 players? WTF?) and the immature players who lose karma as fast as possible. The large number of players make it almost impossible as a traitor to ACTUALLY win a round.
