The server i usually play on uses a poison dart type weapon that you set the duration and after that many seconds it does the amount of damage you set with a max of 100. 1 shot.

How bout something like a c4 you place on another person without a timer, for the detective, that if you get word of them being a traitor and your suspicious of them before that, you place it on them and once you figure out that they are a traitor you just remotely detonate. some cons would be it only works within 1000 feet/meters of your target or it gets taken off if the person falls and is dropped on the ground near where they fell(only if they took 20+ damage) and can be shot and blown up. otherwise, it is not noticeable.

Ok, this is just a basic suggestion. i looked on the console commands and i didnt see something that does this. I think it should show who you were killed by when you die. it already does on the server i play on usually, but on a lot of other ones, it doesnt. basically just it says you were killed by *name here*. He was a *traitor/detective/innocent*. much easier to figure out if you were rdmed.

To gash, i know the server he plays on and we already have one, just its so easy to tell it out. Its really not cheap.

the spawn area is so ridiculously cramped. You should make the area larger / make the cottage slightly bigger as well, with more entrances.


Then add your own weapons and spawns.

The only errors i see are(this always happens) the weapons on the map, that are built into it. i always see them as errors, but when i put them in via script i see the weapons. I click my mouse to place it and it crashes. its only happened on two maps, ttt_borders_b20 pak and ttt_thething_b4fix

Ok, so i've been arming a map recently, and i started placing spawns on one, and i crashed. i loaded up gmod again, tried to place a spawn, and i crashed. This kept happening over and over, does anyone know why this might happen?

Ok, this might be impossible to do, but i might as well ask anyway.

Say a map has weapons built into it. is there a way to remove those weapons and make it use a script for the weapons(A.K.A an arming script, or using the tool ingame)

TTT mappers can add weapons into their own maps from hammer, so for these maps you won't need any arming scripts.


My problem with that is i was gonna add the new glock into some maps....D:
Oh well, i guess i could rearm a few.

when you download the map, usually the map maker gives you one.


I downloaded some off of gmod.org but none of them had any.

Ok, i know there are scripts for arming non ttt maps, but does anyone have the scripts that arm maps made for ttt? i need ones for the following maps. if anyone has them, it would be great if you could post them.

Hmm...If i wanted to, could i place random weapons in the map then go into the text file and make them glocks? If so, whats the name for the glock in the text file?

Also, the newest version of the weapon placer is on the tutorial, right?

This is waaay too OP. The flaregun is how it is for a reason, to still make the traitors job difficult.

Hi, i had just one question about the glock 18. You have to arm that into a map, right? or is there another way of getting it into the game? i downloaded the newest weapon placer tool and i went to arm a map and i didnt see a g18 entity in there, how do you get it in game?
