That's....what I did.

I found I didn't need to reinstall. I just placed the files to where they were supposed to be. They all work except the "thumps." I still have to find out where that one wants to be placed.

In at least two TTT Servers I find myself downloading (every single time I join, including map changes) VTFs and VMTs of Tutorials 1-6, two "thump sounds" and scope. Even after I download them I still see black/pink texture squares (which is why I've avoided using the sniper). I searched for these file in the garrysmod folder but they're not there. How can I fix this?

When I read "Blue Sky" I was expecting a light blue sky with fluffy clouds and gummybear-lifesize dolls everywhere.

Tutorials 1 through 6. I have the same error/bug too. When I checked in the help (F1 in game) it was just a huge square of black and pink squares.

I know about that one. It only has gun and player textures. Not map textures.

I did that, still nothing. I checked the links too, the "materials link" comes to a "Not Found" screen.

I am okay with not being able to see the weapons. All I want is map textures.
