3  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Trouble in Terrorist Town - Gmod-based serial killing on: October 28, 2009, 05:38:28 PM
Yes, it is.

I didn't read all of it, but let me say that before I ever accuse of RDM I ask the guy how he knew it was me.

Mine is probably 10 or so, as a C4 I planted on thething killed about 6 people and then I waited outside for people to come investigate and kept shooting them in the face with a shotgun.

That's perfect.

How long are you going to be able to write stuff? 2-3 seconds?
9  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Trouble in Terrorist Town - Gmod-based serial killing on: October 23, 2009, 01:50:59 PM
If you mean the hearing, I agree. There just always seems to be one person with supersonic bat-hearing that detects it the moment it gets planted.

By the way, how effective is the C4 at the moment? I haven't had the chance to play yet myself, probably will today, but I'm wondering if it's slaughtering people every round or just killing some occasionally (rather than basically doing nothing like it used to)

This is the aftermath of a C4 I planted upstairs in the building behind the test chamber. Keep in mind this is the third attempt at doing this.

Also: After planting it, I tested the range of hearing the beeping sound, and I found that if I'm more than 10 feet away it's completely undetectable unless I turn up my sound so much that walking on snow nearly deafens me.

Why is it that in every server there's one person with supersonic c4 hearing? I can never hear that little beep until I'm almost standing on it.

Why do points matter so much to you ehjunk?
13  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: RDMing and such on: October 18, 2009, 03:37:44 PM
Honestly, I feel like "concrete" is excessive. I like to shoot people in circumstances where, ultimately, I could be wrong. It adds a bit of risk and excitement to being innocent.

By "concrete" I mean "A strong sense that this is a traitor, be the evidence a suspicious weapon, odd placement, or being ehjunk"

I'm with shadow here. I always feel like I have enough concrete evidence to kill someone, but don't for fear of the imminent bitching.
15  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Trouble in Terrorist Town - Gmod-based serial killing on: October 18, 2009, 02:27:24 AM
I got shot twice with it just now and was still able to kill the traitor.
16  Other / Trouble in Terrorist Town / Re: Making Innocence More Fun: The Thread on: October 16, 2009, 10:03:16 PM
I don't find exploring the map with a vigilant eye on everything that occurs to be aimless wandering.

Which is much more fun than barricading up until the point where you get murdered and have to sit there for 20 minutes watching several other people sit in a room looking at each other.

Except the admins often SCREAM "RDM" whenever they die and don't seem to care about much else.

If I ever hear a cry for rdm I ask about it, and if I find it to be a valid complaint I warn the guy not to do it again.

Sorry if I seem to be too harsh.

Terrorists don't need something to do so much as something to make you look forward to doing. Every single time a round starts, I hope against all hope that I'm a traitor. If not, I sigh, barricade/team up with a few people, and wait for my inevitable murder. There needs to be something to make being innocent more fun.

I like weight.

Is the magneto stick supposed to only pull heavy things? It's rather hard to pull a body off a cliff.
